I haven't posted here in a long time. The reason is mainly because most of what I want to say involves the Bowery Boys, or their predecessors the East Side Kids, and no one here knows about them, so I post my thoughts at The Bowery Yahoo Group instead. XD;

I love this icon. X3 Aubrie made several really great ones with Baby Face and Tony, but this is my favorite.

I've really got both her and DSM hooked on the mobster characters. XD DSM has created her own mob of OCs and is writing a story about how Tony and Alice met, and Aubrie wrote a one-shot/blurb about when Baby Face's mentor was shot and killed. Aubrie and I are also finishing up an RP arc in which Yaminah meets Baby Face-tachi. It's great. X3

I had my official graduation ceremony last Thursday. Everything went really well, and I sang a combo of One Alone and The Desert Song. It was fun and I really enjoyed it, though the whole experience was rather bittersweet because it made me feel more like an adult, which is great, but which also sends me into nostalgia. XD I know change is inevitable, and I both welcome it and don't like it at the same time, because I know that while I'll have a lot of great new experiences, I'll probably never have the old ones again that I loved. For some reason, I especially had that sense when I bought the Capsule Monsters DVD and the X-Files movie at Wal-Mart afterward. (I wasn't planning to get the latter, but I found it for $5.50, so I figured what the heck.)

Capsule Monsters was actually pretty good. It was like the RPG trilogy when they had to rescue Kaiba, and there is a villain, manipulating things from the shadows. Even though I miss a lot of the characters, I find it kinda fun to watch an arc with just the four original friends (plus Yugi's Grandpa and Yami Y, of course). I'm anxious to see what happens in the next installment. ^^

... Bad Guys from Bugsy Malone is too addicting of a song. XD; It amuses me terribly, and it's got a great beat. I love the choreography too.

I can't believe it, but I've been having more of my random Christmas moods over the last few days. This is the earliest it's ever got me. Before, the earliest was in late August. Perhaps part of the reason is because I want to set part of an East Side Kids story during Christmastime. Another part may have been influenced by the movie Going My Way, which I got because Stanley Clements has a big part in it. Other than Jimmy Murphy, Stanley is my favorite of the Bowery Boys/East Side Kids actors.

The East Side Kids are younger than the Bowery Boys and are more wild and rambunctious, while still being basically good people. XD I enjoy their films too, though the Bowery Boys are my preference. Stanley Clements' character in that is called "Stash" (which, incidentally, is one of Stanley's real nicknames), and in the first of his movies, Smart Alecks, he imitates the leader Mr. Muggs a lot. He has a hat pinned up like his and sometimes repeats what he says or adopts his poses. However, in the other two movies he's in, he does not imitate Muggs and seems more older and mature. I want to write a story mostly about him and the experiences he had that changed him.

I also had the random idea that maybe Stash could be Duke when he was younger. I know it doesn't seem likely at first glance, but Stash does have some of Duke's mannerisms (though that's likely just because they're Stanley's own mannerisms), and there's the whole name thing. Stanley's real name is Stanislaw, which is a variation of Stanislaus, which is Duke's real name, and I already mentioned that "Stash" is really one of Stanley's nicknames, so it seems that it could just as easily be one of Duke's.

I was starting to wonder. LOL I figured you'd eventually post something about your graduation. While I look forward to when I finally get to get away from my sucky high school, I see similiar feelings as you have will come to me as well. I've said though to people that I look forward to furthering my education, or actually start getting one. XD

That icon is definitely my favorite out of the four. >D It fits so well. My second fave would have to be the animated one. I've totally enjoyed this RP arc, bwahahahaaa . . . We must find some way to fit them again once Yaminah and the others leave. And if I get further inspiration, I should write a follow up with the funeral like I'd talked about . . .

It's sad. I shouldn't be writing and making icons for a fleshed out character of a twenty-five minute episode that I've never seen, of a show that I've never seen . . . **shakes her head** XD

I found some torrents for the Capsule Monster episodes, I may have to download them . . .

Yes, I definitely do look forward to getting a college education now. XD That's another thing that the whole ceremony made me realize. Over the summer I must try to get the driving school thing done so that I can drive and get a job. And I need to try to look into getting scholarships.

Indeed, we must bring them back! And you must write a follow-up! X3

I find it highly amusing that I've managed to intrigue you and DSM so much with the characters, but I'm also definitely glad of it! XD I'm also highly pleased that both you and she are great at writing them in character!

**Now flees for real!**

Do you have any idea when you'll be going to college yet? I know you wouldn't really be able to till you guys sold your house and you hadn't mentioned anything . . . I hope you can get some scholarships! Every little bit helps. And good luck not dying of boredom in driver's ed. **needs to get her license this summer as well** Do you have any ideas where you'd like to get a job, or where openings are?

I guess I kinda fear it really, that we'll lose contact during all these changes. XD; I pray that won't be the case and I know we'd both try our hardest. I've been afraid Huston and I will lose contact as well, but he works every night and we still talk before and after he goes to work, sooo . . . **crosses her fingers** It'd be amusing if we ended up going to college at the same time though . . .

I've already got a few ideas how they could come back later . . . the follow-up will come, eventually. Right now I have that song from the Fai AMV and it's begging for me to do my own Tsubasa AMV . . .

^__^ I just write as the characters come to me. I'm about ready to pull my hair out though that I can't find that blasted episode. XD;; I keep looking and looking and I feel like I keep getting closer and it's just out of my grasp. I think there's a file for it somewhere on Bear Share, but the seeds are never there. **mutters**

I have no idea when. XD I know I'd like to get a job at a bookstore, or Toys R Us, or possibly Wal-Mart, since it's so close. There's also a local pizza place that needs a delivery person. It would be amusing if I got that job. XD **thinking of Valon.**

I worry about that sometimes as well. I know that nothing lasts forever and changes are inevitable, but hopefully it will be like you and Huston. :)

I tried asking for the episode at the community, but the moderator got worried thinking that we'd all get in trouble asking about illegal downloads. XD; I should have remembered how strict some communities are about things like that.

I'd like to work at the bookstore in the mall, but you have to be eighteen because of the porno mags. --.--; Wal-Mart wouldn't be too bad and Toys R Us would be so kewl if they had one around here. LOL I'd wait to see if you like driving first before considering being a delivery person. **wouldn't trust herself with such a job** Sometimes I get into a lot of pain or fatigue and start to swerve. Meep. 0.0;;

And if nothing else, as we get older, we can at least keep in touch with lengthy emails. =D I would miss the RPs terribly though. I have other contacts that are in college and we still talk online frequently.

**continues the slow search then** I might try downloading another Peer2Peer and see what I come up with . . .

Good that your graduation went well. ^_^

So, Capsule Monsters is being released on DVD? I haven't really kept up with YGO news and hadn't really heard anything about it after the initial surprise when it suddenly showed up on Irish TV. I'm curious... How do they end up in the Capsule Monster world anyway? And is there any indication of where it's supposed to fit in timewise?

It comes in between Grand Prix and Pharaoh's Memories. :) Joey wins a trip for four to India, and on their way there the plane breaks down and crashes in a jungle. While there, they meet a guy who was working with Solomon on an expedition, and he leads Yugi-tachi to a large pyramid where Solomon disappeared. Inside, they find a room with a large grid, which is magical and which leads to the Capsule Monster world.

It's about $9.99 at Wal-Mart or Best Buy, and it's something enjoyable and relaxing for a lazy afternoon or evening.

Thanks! **hugs back.**

What's your icon from? Every time I see it, it makes me think of mobsters. LOL.

Oh that's the Three Stooges! I got the pic from their fan catalog! LOL

LOL.... Mistaking the Stooges for mobsters.... That's pretty bad. XD Unless they were undercover? I know the Bowery Boys went undercover as mobsters a lot, when they were trying to catch crooks.

No, that's pretty much how they dressed back then, LOL! The Stooges did tangle with the mob a few times in their stories, though. ;)

Congrats on your graduation! ^^ I know how you feel about being kind of nostalgic...I graduated this year, too. (I didn't have a ceremony or anything, though.) I guess I'm just trying to focus on the more interesting/positive aspects of what college-life will bring. And of course, there's always the internet! LOL

I might have to check out Capsule Monsters sometime. XD It sounds good, save for the lack of characters.

College shall be interesting indeed. XD And yay for the Internet. Sometimes, though, people might just get too swamped with college stuff to be able to be online much.

Hehe, as most of my online friends saw this year, between my working at the library and doing school as usual, I didn't have much time to be online. XD

I really wanna see that new YGO movie. I've heard lots of interesting things about it. I especially wanna see it now, after I've played the Capsule Monsters game. :p
