XD That, and the fact that they're enemies, is what makes it so fun to write. And very unique. In the past, I've always written friendship/sibling hurt/comfort.
Well, actually, I said at the beginning of this blurb that it takes place in an RP universe, so I was hoping that would stave off confusion. ^^; So this universe is the same one in which Cloud is hit by a car, though it includes elements from Twilight and Dawn/Sunrise and Midnight.
Just a Simple Mission, being pre-Nibelheim, is canon in whatever FF7 stories I write. ^^ As for other stories taking place around then, there's the blurb of Seph and Zack in the snow, from the sequel Another Simple Mission. I have chapter 1 of that fic about half-done.
Twilight and Dawn goes into Sunrise and Midnight after a battle with Jenova in which Sephiroth disappears with her. She is temporarily beaten back, and everyone wonders what happened to Sephiroth, but Cloud knows he's still alive. He's standing out in the rain and can feel Sephiroth watching him, but when he looks, Seph is gone. Seph goes off wandering for a couple months, and Sunrise and Midnight opens when he returns. All of that's still in my head. XD Though I've meant to write the blurb that ends T&D.
