Bizarre Question of the Day
What are the freezer drawers like in a morgue's cold chamber? That is, if someone living ended up being in one, could they push their way out from the inside, or is it like being trapped in a refrigerator and it would be impossible for them to get out without help? I remember an episode of Mysterious Ways where a guy came back from the dead in the morgue and he was coming out of one of the freezer drawers, but I cannot remember if he opened it from the inside or if the pathologist had to open it. All I remember is him bumping around making noise, and the pathologist staring in shock and alarm a few minutes later when he started coming out of the open drawer.

If I had to guess, I think there might be some way to open them...
You know, in the book version of "Cigars of the Pharaoh," Tintin is buried alive in a ventilated grave, and the Thompsons save him. They cut that from the animated version, though.(no subject)

I dunno, I did a few quick Google searches and one of them brought up a news article that said a normal person would die from the cold anyway, so I guess you could just handwave it? Or I'd definitely suggest taking it to

I have no idea what it's like on the inside, but I *think* there's some kind of latch/lock thing on the outside. I don't know if it's possible to get past that from the inside or not.
Maybe the How Stuff Works website would have an article on morgue freezers? XD;
