**points dramatically.** [livejournal.com profile] ladyamberjo, I am holding you personally responsible for the zombies that appeared in my dream!

I can also explain the presence of a few other things, but overall, this dream was really whacked out and really really creepy. ;___; As I told Lisa: We were in Idaho, visiting my paternal grandmother (who in reality never left the state and is dead now). Then we drove around and found an old abandoned factory/plant thing where apparently some horrible calamity had happened in the twenties or thirties? o.o And there was a huge monolith/monument/something in the middle of the place, commemorating it. And as we drove through, some water dripped down an old building's wall and that seemed to be an indication that lost spirits were afoot. They then began exclaiming and wailing to be helped. ;___; Oh my gosh it was creepy. Then later, a few of them were coming around as zombies.

One amusing thing: the dream had continuity. XD; At one point, earlier, we were in a creepy cemetery and there was a monument with water dripping down it. I had been told about something like that from Crystal before we left, as she had vacationed there before, so I thought that was the one she had mentioned. Then later, at the factory, I reread the printed email and saw that she was talking about the monument at the factory site.

I'm pretty sure the wandering spirits are inspired by the spirits of Kul Elna. (Thanks, guys.) Monolith, probably because I was talking about them the other day. (They are freaking creepy. I honestly think having Solomon's and the Kaiba brothers' soul cards on monoliths is creepier than the crosses in the original Japanese.) Zombies, because Ladyamberjo showed me some stuff about a show that included a zombie episode. LOL. Even my grandmother's appearance could be explained because I was thinking the other day that it would soon be four years since she died. But the rest of the stuff---Idaho, an abandoned plant ... just not sure. (Well, plant, possibly because the movie F.I.S.T. was on the other night, involving a factory?...) And in any case, my gosh, my mind put everything together so creepy!

Wow. o.o That's so creepy and fascinating! Is that thing about the dripping water indicating spirits real folklore, or just something that was made up in the dream? Because it sounds familiar! I'm almost sure I've heard of that before. XD

LOL, that's amusing how you were able to figure out what just about everything was inspired by. XD You should totally use all that for a fic at some point. >3

That's a good question. XD I'm not sure!

**nods.** It might definitely help make it less creepy to utilize it for a fic. XD;

*dramatically affronted* What, me? What have I ever done to inspire zombie-dreams besides watch a lot of George A. Romero movies and attend Zombie Walks and have countless zombie-dreams of my own?

*sees end of entry* ...oh, and that, too. But hey, at least the zombies in your dream weren't naked! :D

I'm never sure if dreams with continuity are cool, or just extra-creepy. o.o;;

LOL. Yep, they definitely weren't. They seemed to be wearing old suits, actually. XD; And then those ended up being cured of zombieness and deadness somehow. o.o While the rest still wailed for help.... **shudders.**

Considering the dream as a whole, I'd say continuity made it both cool and extra-creepy. XD;

Just watch. I'll post my Zombie Walk picture. THEN we'll see what kind of zombie-nightmares you have. >:D

All you needed to do was find out how those ones were cured, and spread it to the rest! Then you'd be their hero!

Now you just have to see if the water-dripping knowledge carries over into another dream...

The creepy!

That would definitely be a great feat!

I wonder. XD I actually have had continuity across month-and-years-old dreams. o.o Such as dreaming about the same mysterious house....

It took place in an Idaho cemetery...

Eeeep, that is creepy, especially the wailing spirits. o.o

Wait, I was in your dream? **has indeed been to Idaho, but couldn't possibly have gone to a cemetery. XD;**

The mind works in weird ways when it comes to dreams. **knows that all too well...**

So disturbing. o.o

You weren't in it; I was just mentioning you had told me about a monument with water trailing down it. Which turned out to be the one at the decimated plant and not the cemetery. XD Though I guess if there was some legend about even a cemetery, you might have heard about it without actually being in the place.

Wailing? ;___; I'd wake up! Especially when zombies/Legion became involved. Creepy dream.

Dreams with continuity are fun :D Except, uh, when it's a dream you don't like.

LOL at knowing where everything came from! XD

I was very deeply asleep. XD I seem to usually stick out the really creepy dreams (maybe because part of my brain likes the adventure? XD; I dunno.), unless they're the falling kind. o.o I always start awake from those.

XD What's really weird is when you have continuity from dreams that took place months or years ago.

Pfft, ha. Weird, brains XD Yes, falling is an instant alarm clock, even if it's just missing a step on the stairs T__T I've had many a good dream cut short because of those.

That is weird~ Or any indiscernible amount of time ago. And when you can't really remember what happened in the original dream, but you know it's not new. Wish my dreams had more continuity, LOL.

Ah, I love the human mind.

Most of the time, I fall from some great height. o.o And then start awake upon dream-impact. o.o There's a certain adrenaline rush to them, but they're creepy. XD;

I think my favorite kind of creepy dream is The Chase, where I'm running from someone and hiding all kinds of places in a building or house to elude them. The adrenaline really gets pumping then.

I also love big mansion dreams, where I'm exploring lots of rooms in a huge house (usually one we own in the dream). The creepiness comes in because usually they're haunted, and not by friendly spirits. o.o

Yep. XD

Wow. That really is an interesting dream. Strange how one's mind can make up all that. That's kinda cool...but freaky, too. :-|

Yeah, seriously. I actually kind of look forward to and want to have the "chase" and "exploring mansion" dreams I mentioned in a thread above, but these kinds of dreams = do not want.

Hahaha. Cool. XD

I had a dream once (YEARS ago) that an old granny and her mini, err, bulldog looking thing... jumped through my front door spiderman styles, grabbed my sister and killed her with some sort of poison. I have NO idea where that came from, though. o.O

Wow. That sounds hilarious in some way (mainly just the thought of an old granny murderer leaping in Spiderman style, LOL) and really, really creepy. o.o

Hahaha. Yeah. I think it was scary/funny. There's more to it, beforehand, but I won't go into detail. I just somehow knew the Granny and her dog were EEEEVIL. XD
