Like Crystal, I'm not tagging anyone. And you can ask about more than one character, within reason, of course. And unlike the previous meme, I don't care whether you ask about a character I've talked about a lot before, since I think most of these answers would be new for almost anyone.

I have to post this in two parts. LOL. It exceeded the comment limit!

I actually prefer not doing these for a group as a whole. XD; That's pretty overwhelming. So if I ever did it completely of my own accord without being asked, I have to wonder WTH was I thinking. LOL.

Seto Kaiba:

1. Whether or not I like this character - Yes, I do, though somewhat less than I used to. Battle City Seto very often drives me nuts with his obsession over beating Yugi. And the virtual coliseum really makes my jaw drop in disbelief. But of course, there's some awesome scenes too, like him saving Tea at the docks. (Dang, first time in ages I haven't been able to make the accent. There's no way to do it on the laptop, other than selecting a special character in a word processor.) And Seto's protectiveness towards Mokuba is always squeeable. I think Seto shines best in the anime-only arcs, and it feels like blasphemy to say it, since the creator didn't write them. But I can't help it. Seto in Noa's Arc is AWESOME.
2. What name(s) I call this character - Seto; Kaiba.... Depends on my mood, really. There was a spell where I mostly said Kaiba, but usually now it's back to Seto.
3. What image-song I associate with this character - Other than the YGO ones: I'm Back, You're Not Me, and the Hacking Theme, I have nothing. XD; Oh wait ... Numb by Linkin Park. I usually think of it with Siegfried von Schroider lately, but it still definitely fits Seto and Gozaburo. Also, maybe Behind Blue Eyes.
4. What color I associate with this character - Blue, brown
5. What character I like to put this character with (romantic-ships and/or friendships) - Seto/Tea all the way for romantic stuff. Their personalities both fit and clash so perfectly. Though do note that I have a much harder time picturing them together in the manga. "I Hate Everything About You" makes an awesome song for them, LOL. And I never get tired of Tea with "I Won't Say I'm in Love". (I can't imagine Seto with any of the other YGO girls, and I actually thoroughly despise and detest Seto/Serenity. XD; Somewhat because it's so bleeping overdone, but also because even though I get the basis for it, it just doesn't click for me. It just seems too ... gooshy and mushy and syrupy-sweet. **gags.**)

Platonically, as mentioned, I love the stuff with Mokuba. And I've always been fascinated by the dynamic between him and Joey Wheeler.
6. What I would want to say to this character - "Mr. Kaiba, I've long been an admirer of yours. It's an honor to meet you." Or I'd try to say that, anyway. Knowing me, I'd probably stammer and stutter and something completely different would come out of my mouth.
7. What my plans would be for this character - I ... actually don't think I have any. XD; I need to work on my Seto/Tea claim, but the plunnies aren't biting. And lately, my plans usually involve Duke or Bakura.

Yay for Seto/Téa! (Huh, so the number pad thing doesn't work on the laptop?) Bleah at Seto/Serenity. It would never work-- not to mention that Joey would never let it happen. XD;

LOL, same here if I tried to talk to him. And he'd just stare at us, glaring. XD

Aubrie actually made an AMV with Seto and the song Numb, which started my association of it with him. ^^ It should still be on YouTube, unless it's been massacred. **glares in the direction of the greedy corporate giant that's so power-happy on YouTube.**

LOL. I can imagine Joey thinking "The only thing worse than Duke and Serenity would be Kaiba and Serenity!" And having nightmares.

Joey Wheeler:

1. Whether or not I like this character - Yes, I do. Sometimes he frustrates me, but that's mainly because I see my own worst traits reflected in him. I like him better in the manga sometimes.
2. What name(s) I call this character - Joey. Occasionally, if I'm talking to someone who prefers the Japanese, I'll slip into saying Jou or Jounouchi.
3. What image-song I associate with this character - Blind Ambition I've somehow always thought of as being his song. And then of course, No Matter What for him and Yugi. If I've found any non-YGO songs for him, I can't think of them right now....
4. What color I associate with this character - Light-blue and white, like his Battle City shirt. And blond, like his hair.
5. What character I like to put this character with (romantic-ships and/or friendships) - I don't actively ship it much, but when I think of Joey ending up with someone, it's always Mai. Their interaction on the show is amazing. I seriously can't imagine that they won't hook up sometime in the future.

Platonically, his bond with Serenity is sweet, of course. I also love his friendships with Yugi and Tristan. And antagonistic feelings with him and Seto and him and Duke are interesting to explore.
6. What I would want to say to this character - "Hey Joey. How's it going?"
7. What my plans would be for this character - He's at least mentioned in my Indiana Jonesish YGO mystery. Being that Serenity is a principle character, Joey will probably appear in the flesh at some point.

Huh. I think I like him better in the anime, actually. He tends to curse a bluestreak in the manga, particularly in the pre-Duelist ones (I think after those, they censored out the bad words, which is good, but Keith has the foulest mouth of all. XD)... He probably does in the uncut anime, I suppose, but even so...XD;

LOL. Blind Ambition was the image song I chose for Newkirk. XD

**nods** Joey/Mai is one of the few ships I actually support.

Him showing up in the Indiana Jones-esque mystery will be fun. X3 **remembers in the Grand Prix arc that he was the one running from the fake boulder. LOL**

Yeah, aside from the swearing. XD I usually don't think much about it, since it's censored in the majority of my volumes.

Joey/Mai has so much canonical evidence!

LOL. I'd forgotten there was a fake boulder then. I don't think Joey will be involved in the mystery; probably just depicted in flashbacks or during telephone conversations. Unless I do some scenes of him freaking out after realizing Serenity went off with Duke and David after they had to flee.

XD LOL at him freaking out. I dunno... one of the things that makes me think twice about Duke/Serenity is that she would be going against her brother's wishes, and... I don't know if an argument between Joey and Serenity would be avoidable...

**nods.** That's true, but my response would be she can't be sheltered all her life and live under her family's thumbs. In the fic, Serenity explains it as knowing Duke truly is a good person (besides the fact that she's in love with him) and she hopes Joey will come to see that. I think it would be a pretty miserable existence for her if she never learned to spread her wings and make her own choices, even if they differ from her family's wishes.

If Duke and Serenity ever get together in my fics, I think Mai might help Joey understand, since she really is a big sister figure to Serenity... ^^

**nods.** I've actually started to feel pretty strongly about the pairing, partially because I really think Serenity would benefit the most from someone who doesn't shelter her. She needs to be able to get out of her comfort zone.
