I think I finished up the first draft of this bizarre Monkees fic. It is truly WTH are you on?! material. I've been waiting on reviews of chapter 5 at the Yahoo Group before posting 6 there, but I might post 6 sooner at LJ. Then there's chapter 7 and that's it.

One thing I'm really proud of is that I think in this fic I've been better than ever before at characterization of the Monkees and capturing their unique dialogues and humor. Also, sometimes I struggle with lines that sound like more than one Monkee could say them. I still do, but there's been less of that with this fic.

There's a gen-themed horror comment fic event going on at a comm called sharp_teeth. I find this very interesting. Gen-themed, awesome! I made a Kolchak prompt.

Some of my best fics have been written at least partially for the Horror genre. I'm looking forward to my upcoming crossover with Kolchak versus Yami Marik. Now if I could just decide if I should really post it in the crossover section at FF.net.

Well, I need to read more of your older fics, but I do think you've got the unique dialogues down--I'm able to tell who's talking before you say "...," [name] said. ^^

Huh, interesting comm, and gen is always a plus. Unfortunately, I don't think any of my current fandoms would fit, save for YGO, probably, but I don't focus on horror.
