Comment with the name/title of a fandom I'm aware of, no matter how obvious you think the answers will be, and I'll reply to you with the relationships -canon or not- from it I ship. I'll give favorite romantic relationships as well as favorite platonic ones. Also, you're free to reply in subthreads and ask me why I ship or don't ship something.

Pocket Monsters: Advanced Generation!
Pocket Monsters: Diamond & Pearl!
In a word... Pokemon!
(Raikou: Legend of Thunder is optional and doesn't count if you haven't watched the original. ^^; Sex changes and dumbing down/ditzying up of characters a la Sailor Moon = BAD, 4Kids, /BAD./)
(-squee- Ahiru/Fakir! ... -ahem-)

Romantic: A good question. XD Pokémon is one series where I don't find much I want to ship in this way. Offhand, the only one I can think of is May/Drew. And Harley/Jessie still does intrigue me in some twisted way.
Platonic: Everything else. XD J/K. But I am one of the few TR fans who prefers to see Jessie and James as best friends and not as a couple. ^^; I admit I dabbled in Rocketshipping for a while, but I'm afraid I got turned off on it by a rabid Rocketshipper a few years back.
I like Ash's friendships with Misty, Brock, and May and Max. ^^ And of course, Ash's friendship with Pikachu. Very sweet. I really like that early episode where it looks like Pikachu may go away. **doesn't remember many of the details about it any more, though.**

ShuHaru is a given. ^^; When the pairing's supported by Mitsuko, Musashi, Harley, Wakana (sort of) and just about everybody else, it would be unbelievable to claim otherwise. xD
That's so sad! ;_; I've joined the fandom MUCH later so I never had the, er, 'pleasure' to meet the scary early days Rocketshippers.
It's such a shame you don't like the pairing, it's quite sweet. ^^;;
Actually, just about ALL the Rocketshippers are gone now. xD;;; Seriously, when was the last time you checked up on this fandom? It's a 'sunken ship,' it's 'dead,' the Rocketshipping Club had a freakin' /funeral/ at one forum.
(All this was really ridiculous over-reaction if you ask me, all because of the Chirean episdoe. ... And? The guy who wrote that episode /despises/ Musashi and always portrays her negatively! Have we forgotten Bad to The Bone? Blind loyalty is one of Musashi's traits and he turns her into a complete backstabber as well as making Kojiro and Nyasu annoying back-biters.
He doesn't really seem to care eitherway about Nyasu except in making him team up with Kojiro against Musashi or having Musashi abuse the poor cat. ^^;
I'll admit his episodes ARE some of the funniest in the series, but I'm more then a little irritated that the guy who wrote Love and The Origin of Youth /and/ the original Kojiro's past episode Gaurdie to Kojiro (Holy Matrimony!) didn't get to write this episode. That's just /wrong,/ man (that and Junkie has the best portrayal of Musashi -shifty-).
At least it was in-character for Kojiro to freak out at the idea of marrying Musashi, even if what he imagined was just a more domestic over-dramatised version (oh, yeah, with him being a housewife who has bad taste in furniture) of his day-to-day life. xD
Best thing is just to not take the guy's episodes TOO seriously.)
Though, technically, you're one of the few TR fans left who sees them as friends at all. ^^; Now most people just hate Musashi and thus hate her and Kojiro as friends/partners/lovers/whatever else and would have much rather Kojiro stayed with miss 'KOJIRO-SAN! -handclapsparkly-' No-Personality-Skeleton-of-A-Sue instead of Musashi who (... used to... ) have a very interesting personality.
... Though, oddly enough, the one brand of Rocketshipping that remains unaffected through this whole thing is WrongRocketshipping. O_o; It's an, er, 'friends with benifits' dealy. xDD;;;
Also, what about characters who are already in relationships/have-the-crap-'hinted'-out-of-them even more then ShuHaru? Like say, Butler and Diane in movie six or Kenta and Marina in Legend of Thunder? (Junichi and Marina's canon too, but Marina doesn't like the poor dork. ^^; Personally, I found him more interesting then Kenta, especially with his hillarious over-dramatic entrances with the cape and all. xD)
I'm... not even sure why I'm talking about all of this and you're probably thinking: 'Oh, God, not another rabid Rocketshipper!' or 'Please shut the hell up, it's freakin' /POKEMON./ Why are you dicepting the crap out of it and not just enjoying it?!'
So I'll be quiet now. ^^;;;

I think most of what I find sweet about Rocketshipping still applies when I think of them as best friends.
I have barely done anything with the Pokémon fandom for a couple of years now. I still belong to the PokéCommunity, but I haven't been there in a while.
And it's sad that all of TR had their personalities mashed by that one writer. -.- I hate when that happens. What, exactly, did he give in the script as the reason why they all turned against each other? Or was no reason given? And how did that episode end?
WrongRocketshipping sounds ... wrong, period. XD;

Rose is in a special as well, which wasn't longer then the average episode.
PokeCommunity died just recently I'm afraid. ^^;
Yukiyoshi really REALLY likes Kojiro.
That's all I can say, really. It's like he's super-protective of him or something and hates Meowth and Jessie or anyone else being around him. xD; It's so /random./
He did several episodes that way, but the Chirean one was mostly because of how he made Musashi and Nyasu just go around stealing food and trying to steal Pokemon from Kojiro's summer home even after Kojiro repeatedly told them not to.
His and Chirean's goodbye, however, was VERY touching as was the old woman's speech at the end. Beautiful and perfect.
Love Kojiro's and Chirean's seiyuu and I. LOVE. SMILE.
It's the prettiest song! ^^;
And the animation in that episode was /amazing./ We'll ignore superskinnystarvedeventhoughshewasjuststuffingherself!Musashi and Kojiro's gigantic red R and just squee at the pretty, okay? xD;

WrongRocketshipping is wrong! That's why it's called... WrongRocketshipping. xD

And the song is beautiful!
PokéCommunity is dead? I got the automatic birthday email from them this year. XD Unless it died after that.... (My birthday is October 3rd.)

And later, it was explained that Manene's nice and just really got attatched to Kojiro, so it wanted to be with him.
The old couple were saying that even though he was a member of the Roketto-dan, they still loved and accepted him and knew he had good friends (wow, that in a Yukiyoshi episode? :P) and... such.
I love it as well!
After, after. ^^

Oh, right, I don't think you're familiar with the Raikou special or the point blank attack scene...
Movie eight!
I really don't want to spoil anything, but I'll post a SMALL translation snippet of the really touching speech in it.
I heard 4Kids went out with a bang- hopefully they translated this scene and kept it as beautiful.
'If a life must be traded for a pointless war... Myself and only me... should be plenty. But, I don't have any... regrets. In the castle, with Leen-sama and you... I had a beautiful life. That itself is what 'living' means.'
The whole speech is much sadder, but I can't spoil it! ^^;;; Especially if you listen to it and watch it... waaah.
Also, human death for the win! xD 4Kids /still/ dodged around the word 'die' though. It was kind of funny. The tree is 'dying,' whereas ---- is being 'destroyed.'

I'll stop spamming you and send you just this last little clippie from one of my most favorite Junkie-written episodes. ^^; It's just so SWEET. Also, more of Musashi's loyalty working a little bit against her, but at the same time, it helped them. xD;
Also, THE most awkward scene in Pokemon got 'translated' well. I honestly thought they would cut it. But, 'shinigami Musashi' was omitted... but Yamato (Casisdy!) and Musashi talking was translated well and even better then the original in some parts! ... Except for making the number of Musashi's 'crushed' partners less. ^^; Well, 4Kids was always about the panting and groaning and 'oh'ing and 'hmm'ing random other noises whenever there was silence in the original... so when they actually had to do some, it came out great. xDD
There's another scene I'd LOVE to send you, but since I don't want to crowd you too much... I'll just give you Dogasu's translation of what was said (which the dub completely rewrote... oi, vey)! ^o^
Kojiro: Musashi...are you awake?
Musashi: Yeah.
Kojiro: I'm always saying how I won't run away from anything, but the truth is that I've run away from all sorts of things. Up until now, I've led a life where I've been constantly running away.
Musashi: Until now, I've lived completely alone even though I keep being paired up with teammates.
Kojiro: You can't undo the past, but you can make a new one starting tomorrow.
Musashi: Yeah. If this team becomes number one, I believe we'll be able to shine like the stars in the sky!
Nyasu: Nyaa~ we'll become the star of the Roketto-Dan...

A scene dubbed even better than the original? That's something that doesn't happen every day.
Thanks for the translation of the other scene, and that speech. Those are both great. X3 I especially love the line about Musashi feeling that she's lived alone in the past even though she's been paired with teammates.

Musashi couldn't leave him, obviously, and kept trying to pull him up even though he said it was impossible. He smiled, then let go.
But THIS time, Musashi pulled Nyasu up and both grabbed his hand, pulling him out.
Awkward scene, then Nyasu gets them to finish the test (they were late in finishing... but got in the gang anyway. ^^)
Yeah, ESPECIALLY not with 4Kids! xD That's only happened like... twice or thrice before. ^^;

And btoh were really... tough as nails in this special. Musashi was constantly crushing her old team mates and refused to get close to any (before Kojiro) earning herself the nickname of shinigami Musashi by people twelve years her senior. xD
If you already knew all that... ^///^ So sorry for rambling!

That sounds like a great special! X3

The special's continuity errors are that Kojiro and Musashi were (in the original series) childhood friends and met BEFORE the gang.
Also, Kojiro interacts with Kosaburo and Yamato several times, though maybe he forgot about them when he saw them again later. xD;
And that Nyasu found Persian already there- it was more like Nyasu tried to usurp Persian's role for a second there while the cats just looked irritated, then Sakaki figured Nyasu just messed things up so he put him with Kojiro and Musashi. xD
But forgetting those, everything else about the special is perfect.

Kojiro, not James. ^^;
Though the change from 4Kids to PUSA really made me happy, I was fearing the day this episode would be dubbed the sweetness of this scene would be destroyed by the squealy unemotional flaming gay stereotype that is Eric Stuart's James. x_X; Sure, the new voice is rough and unpolished, but it really worked in parts of this episode, especially the goodbye.
'I know this is supposed to be serious, I just... don't know how to deal with this...'
SO in-character for Kojiro. James would probably just be 'HOW SAD! -sobWHINNYeeehohohooooocry- I CAN'T LEAVE CHIMMYYYKOOO!!!'
-twitch-
Or he would say something even goofier like 'meanie!' when he was being THREATENED BY A GUN. Why, yes, I am quite bitter with how Kojiro is dubbed post-KantoandOrange, is it that obvious?

I didn't like the dub voices from that recent TV special about Mirage Pokémon, but I heard that the new voices either changed or got better, can't remember which. I haven't actually heard any English voices beyond the 4Kids ones or that Mirage special.
The only other Smile song I know is the one from Full Moon, but I don't remember its translation....
no subject
I was thinking of that Smile too!
'Egao... waser~enaiyo~!
I cannot live... without you forever!'
^^;

My simplified summary of/what-I-learned-from Harley and Musashi's interactions in Rivals Forever!:
Haruka is in denial about the whole Shuu thing.
Creepy-stalker-man/Enishida/Scott has EYES. 'Suki desu ne~?' Sukizo-san-parodying is win.
Haruka's depression is over! Hooray!
This marks the... second/third episode that is both well-animated AND well-drawn that poor Harley appears in. ^^; Iwane. Which is odd as most of the episode was dialogue instead of moving around, so it felt somewhat like a waste, but at the same time, I'm glad they got Iwane to do this one.
Also, Harley's hair looks washed out the first time. xD;
And Ookido-hakase's EYEBROWS CHANGE COLOR ... consistently! xD
Harley does NOT like being denied anything. If sensei tells Musa-chan to come to Jouto with him, he is not inviting, it is an ORDER, Musa-chan! Or else you get Seed Machine Gun'd.
Musashi is very very cute.
'Shuu atarashi no buddy ka?' Indeed...
There is a quota to how many times you say 'kaga(, -iadashite, -iaku)' that MUST be filled in every contest-related episode.
Actions speak louder then words.
Musashi is VERY very /very/ cute.
Fangirls can sometimes be useful.
That is all. ^^
