Guba decided to cooperate for a little bit again, upstairs, and I got to watch the anime version of the Golden Apple case. It's awesome! I just love seeing the manga stories come to life, with color and voices and music and whatnot.

One thing that's confusing me now is what exactly is the deal with the serial killer? Yes, I know Vermouth was masquerading as him when Ran saved her, but I'd previously thought that Vermouth was always the killer. And yet, the police couldn't have found the guy shot dead if he only existed as one of Vermouth's disguises. So, why did Vermouth pretend to be him for that little while, and how many people, if any, did she kill as him?

I also noticed the updated animation clips from episode 1 in the I Can't Stop My Love For You opening. ^^ So purty! Gin had those lovely fluffy bangs in the updated animation, and of course, in episode 1 he didn't actually have them. He just had that one long piece of hair the same length as the rest of his hair going between his eyes. And while that looks nice, too, I'm partial to the fluffy bangs. XD

Un! The animation change didn't make everything look sucky like with Pokemon (okay, so not /sucky,/ but lazy. xD; )

Musashi's shown with bangs twice, but the first time was because Eneco (Haruka's) frayed her hair, so Musashi chased everyone around with a machine and then everyone laughed.
This show is /weird./ xD

Yeah, on DC, the animation looked a little cheap at the beginning and then got a lot better. ^^

LOL. She was chasing everyone including May and company, and instead of blasting her off, they thought it was funny?

Those bangs are cute. ^^ Maybe she should just let her hair be natural more often instead of slicking it back and making it stick out.

Yes, but if they were down, she'd look pretty much exactly like Kojiro if they were shadowed! xD How would people recognize who she was? She obviously wants to stick out. :P

That wasn't the first Conan parody, so it's probably not the last. xD My favorite is still Hiroshi (who's voiced by Conan's seiyuu!) explaining how the kidnapping of Ookido-hakase must have played out... with shadowed figures drawn all... it was just such an /obvious/ parody! We haven't had such obvious ones since... since the Utena one in the Erika episode!

XD That episode with Hiroshi sounds highly amusing. And Hiroshi in itself is a name from DC: it's Agasa's first name. And forgetting that, I stupidly made it Vodka's real name in my fics.
