Bleh. XD; Chapter 6 should need another scene, but it seems to want to think it's done right now. **headdesk.**
It's been a fun fic to write. X3 There are some angsty undertones, like in chapter 6, but mostly it's stayed in a lighter, h/c-only direction. It will get a bit darker near the climax, I suppose....
There is something in a darker direction I've been wanting to tinker with, but I'm not sure when I'll get to it. Anyone remember the AU world that Seph conquered and ruled supreme from, in a couple of blurbs/summarized entries? Well, he's still the president in that world, sane again and trying to repair his earlier damage. And the detectives are part of his security force. In the RP where they're featured, Scott was hurt during a rebel attack and doesn't remember anything (including his friends). The experience traumatized him so much that he blocked it all out. And he follows Elliott around, terrified that something's going to happen to him, even though he doesn't consciously remember El. ;___; I've been thinking of maybe writing some blurbs showing them and how they're trying to cope with this.
Recently in the RP, Elliott was shot by a laser gun during another attack, fulfilling Scott's worst fears. So another blurb would focus on those events and what happens following. (Scott fighting off the creep and saving El's life, but refusing to talk or to leave El's side while they wait to see if he'll recover. Scott still doesn't remember things, either.)

Oooh, but that RP scenario sounds so saaad... ;___; **that wasn't one of ours, was it?** Waaaah at Elliott getting hurt and Scott being terrified, even though he can't remember! ;____;

(LOL, nope. XD We haven't done any with Seph. It's the vocal RP with Mom.)

This AU El has wings, but Scott doesn't. At first the AU Scott wasn't sure what to make of the wings, but he adapted quickly, sensing El was important to him.
