Muwahahaha

I adore Tokyo Mew Mew. It finally premiered on the Fox Box this past Saturday and I was right ready to watch it. XD I've been waiting for it since September or so. Ichigo (or Zoey) reminds me of a slighty older CardCaptor Sakura. She's a very likable star for the show. And now I've got the durn theme song in my head and I wanna download it somewhere. . . . **wonders what the Japanese music is like.** I wanna buy the manga now. **nod.**

On YGO we got the first two parts of Joey vs. Valon. Interesting stuff, though they did murder Valon's flashback. XD; I was expecting that, really, so I didn't fall apart because of it. It was irritating, though. But at least they kept in that Valon is really fighting for Mai as well and that he wants her to be happy. If I remember right, at one point they let him say that he and Joey both wanted the same thing: for Mai to be happy. Cuteness! ^O^ They mashed Raphael wanting Valon to duel on Alister's behalf, but I was half-expecting that as well. XD; No point screaming my lungs out over it.

I bought the third YGO Sound Duel CD on eBay for $9.00 plus S&H. Doom goodness. X3

And I've been struggling with a full-body sketch of Alister for the last few days. XD; I think I've finally got it somewhat presentable, but the eraser marks are outrageous. --.--; I'm gonna have to take a pink pearl eraser and try to erase the worst of the marks. . . . I messed around in Paint Shop Pro earlier and tried to erase them there, but . . . let's just say it would take a million years to get it completely cleaned up on the computer. I did discover, more or less, how to computer color a picture. I prefer hand-coloring, I think.

**cries and winces** Don't waste your money on Tokyo Mew Mew!! **whimpers** I haven't really watched it yet, and I was meaning to . . . but . . .**shudders** Go buy Bleach or something!! Cheaper and much more worth it!!

Yes, cuteness for Mai, but I was reeeaaaally angry over the flashbackthing. And as for the CD. You know you're going to have to send me tracks now. >3

LOL. You need an artist eraser or something. Like a rubber one or maybe just one of the nice white ones that come in a graphite pencil set that I buy. I'm sure you could find it seperately. It works wonders. If you want, I suppose I could take a shot at cleaning it up. XD

Sorry, my dear, but I happen to like the show so far. XD; If you have never watched it, how can you really judge it?

Yep, I'm planning to copy the biker themes and send them to people. X3

I'm embarrassed to even let anyone look at the pic as it is right now. XD; What makes it worse is that my scanner heightens the eraser marks so they look even worse than they really are. o__o;

Nyaaaaah. **sticks tongue out at you** True, I have not watched the show, but I have looked through some of the manga and talked to some fanboys. **shudders and crawls away, whimpering as she remembers the commercials she's been seeing for it** Cat girls/magical girls (mostly the catgirl factor. I am a person that has been around furries and crap and they creep me out) are just too much shojo for me . . . T_T Though, I do like Card Captor Sakura . . . I watched it a bit when it was on KidsWB. I keep trying to get myself to buy the manga . . . but I'm usually looking for Kenshin or Saiyuki or something. XD I still say you should go get Bleach. XP They're Shonen Jump novels so they're cheeeaaaaper. LOL **cries out again as she sees the sparkly crap on the cover of the Tokyo Mew Mew manga**

I'm so used to seeing that stuff by now. XD Huston uses .9mm lead for his drawings and when he has to erase it's a disaster. But like Lady Amberjo said, gum erases are a good deal. But if you want me to try, I will, if not. **shrugs**

And yeah, scanners do that. v.v;;

The dub's pretty much mashed the original Tokyo Mew Mew. XD; The original doesn't have as big a focus on the romance stuff, according to the information I've been gathering. It's there, but not in overkill. XD; I'm trying to download an original episode (well, not directly to the computer because the computer would have a heart attack. I'm trying to play it without having it saved first, but the buffering is taking forever and maybe I'll do it later). I saw some of it in the morning before Window Media Player spazzed after I had to pause the thing. XD; Just in those few minutes I saw, it was better than the dub.

**shrugs.** I like the magical girl stuff. You already knew I like Sailor Moon and Magic Knight Rayearth. CardCaptor Sakura, too. **nodnod.**

*sniffles at the dub* They'll make the pain go away...Jou won't get to go blind and collapse *sadistically wants Jou-pain* I'm mean to the poor boy ^_^;

Mm, Sound Duel III is yummy...Doom has some of the best music, methinks...Battle City also has wonderful music *snuggles "Anger of God"*

Have you ever seen gum erasers anywhere? They're relatively cheap, brown, square erasers that do wonderful things...they can even erase colored Prismacolor...most graphite marks are no problem for 'em...

Oh, and on a totally unrelated note: I couldn't help but notice your most recent fic, and just wanted to let you know that if you ever need any stage terminology, I'm a trained theatre-dork XD

[identity profile] insaneladybug.livejournal.com 2005-02-22 03:44 am (UTC)(link)
Ooooh. Gum erasers. They sound great. >3 Do you need to go to special art supply stores to buy them?

XD I'll probably take you up on that offer if I get stuck. ^^ Trained theatre-dorks will be good to have around. :)

[identity profile] ladyamberjo.livejournal.com 2005-02-22 04:23 am (UTC)(link)
Er...I know it's no problem at all to find them in art supply stores, but I don't doubt you could find them in the pencil/marker/whatever section of Walmart (because everything can be found at Walmart...) They're really not all that rare...

I'm not just a trained theatre-dork, in another few years, I'll be certified trained theatre-dork!

GUM ERASERS! XD For the life of me I couldn't think of the name of those things. I called them "are erases" Those things are freakin' awesome. Though . . . I actually don't know if you *can* get them at Wal-Mart. 0.0 If so, I've never seen them. And I'm in that aisle a lot. **shrugs**

The only place I've seen them around here is Hobby Lobby.

XD Cool for the new show. Never seen it, myself.

Erase marks are a pain. -.- My picture of my Tenpou-avvie on Gaia was ruined because of a giant erase mark. Bleh. Maybe I'll see if I can fix her when I get home.

^^ Cool for the soundtrack! I've gotten a couple of Bebops and a YYH, but never a YGO. Maybe I'll look into getting a Saiyuki sometime...

Meh. XD I've given up on ranting about the edits. Ranting won't change it. *pats uncut DVD*

^^ Talk to you tomorrow. Sorry I didn't come back on MSN. ><; PC was being a pain in the neck.

Yeah, for me I figure ranting is pointless, so why do it? XD When I see people ranting, it usually makes me think, "Whoa. Overdramatic! It's a TV show!"

^__^ **nods.** I'm anxious to hear the Doom music!

That's okay about not coming back. XD; I hate it when the computer spazzes.
