3. What makes me happy about them - They're hilarious. Plus, awesome singers.

5. What moment I wish had never happened - Question 2. (If I knew whether that thing Dad talked about happened, it would be that moment.)
6. Who I'd be comfortable them ending up with, if not each other - I'm comfortable with their recent projects.
7. My happily ever after for them - Imagining things as on the show.

Totally agree on all those, though I still can't recall that moment your dad mentioned. **shrugs**

And this one's for you-- Ryou and Yami Bakura? Or can I not ask more than one? XD;

I possibly could have made that a bit more interesting.... At least I could have cited dumbing down Elliott for #5, but it still would be stuff I've said before. XD; I found it really hard to do those questions for them, what with them being real people and all. There just wasn't a lot of stuff to cite like there'd be for completely fictional ones....

Now, Ryou and Yami Bakura ... I think I can give some new information for them. X3

1. When I started shipping them - Shortly after I got interested in the show and the two of them (which happened similtaneously). I'm not sure whether I was reading squee fics or what. Actually, no, I think I remember how it was. I wanted to know if anyone had written something with Yami Bakura being kind to Bakura, because the idea intrigued me without anyone suggesting it. I subsequently stayed up for the better part of a night reading a fanfic that's still in my Favorites (I hope; if it's still on the site, it's still there) where they end up in an alternate world, have separate bodies, and Yami Bakura has to take care of an injured Bakura.
2. What I think their challenge is - The fact that Yami Bakura keeps possessing Bakura to take over the world. Bakura says in the manga that he hates the spirit, as well he would.
3. What makes me happy about them - Squee scenes between them, especially in the manga where Yami Bakura admits he cares and then dispatches the mean gym teacher. XD; Also, the part where you see him shielding Bakura's spirit as he takes the hit from Slifer.
4. What makes me sad about them - That canonically, they don't get much interaction.
5. What moment I wish had never happened - Yami Bakura likely being destroyed with Zorc. Though there's still a bit of canon hope---he says that as long as the Millennium Ring exists, he'll live on. And the Ring, I thought, was only buried in the earth, not destroyed.
6. Who I'd be comfortable them ending up with, if not each other - No one. XD; LOL. No seriously, I want them together.
7. My happily ever after for them - Yami Bakura survives Zorc's destruction, comes back to Bakura, and they come to be very close. And they live out their lives/afterlives together perfectly happy as bachelors.

I'd post with the obligatory Seph/Zack comment, but that's too easy. So you're getting Sephiroth/Genesis instead.

I've talked about Sephiroth and Zack so much, I'd probably run into the same problem as I did with Rockapella. XD **looking to do some new stuff.** So Sephiroth and Genesis it is.

1. When I started shipping them - It's more of an anti-ship, actually. LOL. Since I usually prefer to have them as enemies. As friends, I dunno. I see them as strong rivals, and I know they were supposed to have been pretty close, but I don't often think about it since Genesis's jealousy royally screwed things up. XD; In any case, I started enjoying their odd relationship probably two and a half years ago, when Crisis Core arrived in Japan. Possibly earlier, since some info leaked before that.
2. What I think their challenge is - Genesis's jealousy and determination to be the best.
3. What makes me happy about them - ... That their cutscene fighting in Junon was cool?
4. What makes me sad about them - That everything fell apart. We don't know all the details, of course, but it did come across looking like Genesis's jealousy was mostly at fault. Judging from the scene where they meet in chapter 4 (?), Sephiroth didn't want them to be at odds.
5. What moment I wish had never happened - Genesis telling Sephiroth the truth about them being monsters. I wonder if he regretted it when Nibelheim burned, or if he was too insane by then to care? ;__;
6. Who I'd be comfortable them ending up with, if not each other - Sephiroth with Zack, Angeal with Genesis. That would be preferable to me to begin with.
7. My happily ever after for them - They're both restored to sanity and can eventually make peace with each other.

1. XD "These were two guys who knew each other for so long, that they fought."
2. Genesis in Crisis Core kinda pisses me off XD; Dude man. That's a really lame reason to spit on your friendship!
3. LOL. We don't get a lot of Seph and Genesis actually being friends, do we.
4. Yeah, poor Seph... It's so frustrating, when you're trying so hard and the other party isn't trying at all.
5. I think Genesis was trying to say something like, "We're the same whether you like it or not-- and I KNOW you don't like it-- so help me out here." And things got way out of hand... ;___; Who knows whether he regrets it or not?
6. Angeal and Genesis made Sephiroth into something more than a soldier raised in a lab; Zack made him happy :D
7. Which, most unfortunately, is rather unlikely in canon T__T

2 and 4. YES. I dunno, I've tried and tried to like Genesis, and ... I really don't. XD;

Okay, I'll do Sephiroth and Zack now. XD Because I'm totally procrastinating instead of writing fics like I should be.

1. When I started shipping them - Mmmm.... When I started writing Twilight and Dawn, probably, and started getting into their interaction. Then I learned more about their backstory and squeed and cried.
2. What I think their challenge is - Seph went nuts. ;__;
3. What makes me happy about them - Their scenes in Crisis Core (and heck, the scene from the original game, before Sephiroth flipped). Their interaction is just squeeable and adorable and wonderful. They're just perfect together.
4. What makes me sad about them - See Question #2.
5. What moment I wish had never happened - Same.
6. Who I'd be comfortable them ending up with, if not each other - I'm comfortable with Zack and Cloud as best friends, but I can't really think of anyone else for Sephiroth. Maybe Angeal....
7. My happily ever after for them - They're restored to life, Sephiroth is sane again, and they start mending their friendship.

I've been trying to think of something other than Seph and Zack.... so.... Fakir and Ahiru! X3

You know, I'll probably do this for Sephiroth and Zack as well, anyway. XD Probably in a reply to Northeastwind, since she mentioned it first. But now, Fakir and Ahiru!

1. When I started shipping them - Probably when I got about to episode 10, 11, or 12, when truths are learned and they're forced to work together for the first time. I squeed over the pairing, as did a good deal of the fanbase.
2. What I think their challenge is - Ahiru is a duck. ;__;
3. What makes me happy about them - Their interaction is brilliant! LOL. Arguing so much, but coming to understand each other so deeply (and probably still arguing). The scene in episode 25, at the Lake of Despair, is beautiful. ;___; And the part in the last episode, where Fakir can't control what he's writing and is telling how Ahiru is so wounded she can barely stand, but she keeps dancing, and he's crying. It was so poignant.
4. What makes me sad about them - That it ended with Ahiru a duck. ;___;
5. What moment I wish had never happened - Dunno.... Everything that happened was important, really. And the creator herself said it would not be impossible for Fakir to turn her back into a girl! ^O^ She's encouraging fanfiction! (And she also said once that Ahiru could end up living to be a hundred, an impossible feat for a duck, but not a human! Hmmm.)
6. Who I'd be comfortable them ending up with, if not each other - No one. XD;
7. My happily ever after for them - Ahiru is turned back into a girl and she and Fakir finish out their school years, marry, and have kids. Oh, and Ahiru doesn't turn back into a duck anymore if she randomly quacks. LOL. Because that would just be awkward for a whole lifetime.

XD Gotta say, Seph and Zack are still my favorite! X3

Yeah, Ahiru being a duck is definitely a huge challenge! ;___; But that's so awesome that the creator herself said it would be possible for her to become human! ^O^ That's practically canon right there. >3

Oh yes, I love their interaction! I think that is probably my favorite part about the entire series, with the intense storyline coming in second. X3 **totally needs to see the last few episodes again!** ;___;

Totally! ^O^ The creator is awesome that way. And I've been told that the series is left open, with Fakir starting his story, because they want the viewers to decide what happens next.

Their interaction is the best. ♥ And even with all the classic scenes they get, I'm left wanting more. XD

1. When I started shipping them - Probably when it was revealed that Fakir's harsh behavior was really just because he was trying to keep Mytho safe.
2. What I think their challenge is - Mytho lives in a story. ;__; (Though judging from my conversations with the people in the comm, there are many possible interpretations for where he actually is at the end....)
3. What makes me happy about them - It's so squeeable how much Fakir cares about Mytho and wants to protect him. And Mytho in turn cares so much about Fakir, when he begins to get his feelings back. I love in episode #20, when the raven blood is making him fight Fakir, and then he tries so hard to stop.
4. What makes me sad about them - At the end of the series, they're not together. ;___;
5. What moment I wish had never happened - Mytho going away!
6. Who I'd be comfortable them ending up with, if not each other - They should always be best friends! I wouldn't be comfortable with either of them having someone else for a best friend.
7. My happily ever after for them - Mytho and Rue return to Gold Crown Town to live, and Mytho and Fakir hang out frequently. (Which will be seen starting in my fic Fall From Grace.)

1. When I started shipping them - Oooh, toughie. It's been so long, I'm not quite sure anymore. **tries to think.** It ... may have been both due to the snowy rooftop scene and a discussion concerning it. I *think* I objected to the idea of the pairing, but someone (Claude?) convinced me it was possible.
2. What I think their challenge is - That Gin is an assassin for the Black Org and included Akemi among his victims. XD; Not to mention Sherry's current physical state and the fact she's terrified of him....
3. What makes me happy about them - I like imagining what might have been before the Akemi business went down. And I like interpreting scenes like the snowy rooftop as supportive of the pairing, albeit extremely twisted.
4. What makes me sad about them - That I doubt Gosho will reveal any past relationship they might have had. And it's unlikely they'll get together or at least have some satisfying ending scene if he ever gets around to finishing the story.
5. What moment I wish had never happened - Gin killing Akemi? Though without that element, it takes away a great deal of the challenge of trying to get them together, so I dunno.
6. Who I'd be comfortable them ending up with, if not each other - I don't know. Gin I can't picture with anyone, and I've never been completely sold on Shinichi/Sherry because of Ran, even though I love their interaction.
7. My happily ever after for them - Sherry makes the antidote for herself and Shinichi, Gin and Vodka flee the Black Org during the final confrontation, they end up together, stuff happens, and Sherry eventually flees with Gin and Vodka. Basically what happened in my RP verse in detail, and more choppily, in my fics.

Oh, but your posts are always interesting! Sorry if I don't always comment, but I do read them! :D ~~And all your talk about Princess Tutu is making me want to check out.~~

1. The snowy-rooftop scene, huh? I only have a vague memory of it. *is shot* So what was in there there that makes Gin/Sherry possible, if I may ask?

4. Yeah, it'd be interesting if Aoyama-sensei revealed something about their past. The closest thing we have is a conspiracy theory by some fans saying Gin raped Sherry (since he always imagines her naked whenever he thinks of her).

6. I know, right? Though I'd be interested in how a crack! Gin/Vodka pairing would work. XD;

7. RP verse? Hmm, I should read those fics when I have the time. ;)

I hope you don't mind me asking, but what's your stand on the Shinichi/Ran pairing? How about Mitsuhiko/Ai?

Mainly I was worried my Sherry answers wouldn't be very good because I haven't been involved with the fandom in so long. XD

1. I forgot the episode number, which was why I referred to it without one. XD But it was about 177ish, I think? And I ... guess it was just the fact that they were interacting and Gin's obsession over her made me wonder if there'd been something between them and love had turned to hate.

4. Disturbing. o.o And could be possible, I suppose. You never know with someone like Gin.

7. Some are unfinished, and I have others that take place afterwards and try to explain what I didn't write in the other ones, LOL. Hence why I said it was choppy.

Shinichi/Ran.... I've always felt they were destined to be, though I'm less sold on the other childhood friends pairings (Heiji/Kazuka and Kaito/Aoko). Ran could be paired with someone else, I guess, but I haven't seen enough of her interacting with the other possible candidates to know whether I think it's plausible.

Mitsuhiko/Ai I've ... never really been that fond of. XD; I dunno, the thought of any of the real kids paired with one of the "fake" kids weirds me out.
