I had to go to the library to take back the Monk DVDs. 11 other people have them on hold. I just barely was able to finish watching the last episode on disc 2 before we had to go. I ordered the second half of season 1, so hopefully that will come in soon.

I also went uptown looking for some accessories that would be useful for my proposed Alucard costume (and possibly a good black choker just because I like them). Claire's is now closed, apparently. It used to be in the mall across the street from the one we were in, then it moved to Crossroads, and now it's closed again. **wonders if it moved back where it was originally.** Oy.

There's a Hot Topic on the second floor of the mall. I actually wasn't too impressed with it. I dunno if all the branches are like this, but this one was blaring heavy metal music in my ear, there weren't any chokers, and it seemed to be a punk store. XD And there weren't as many anime shirts as I'd hoped for, though there were some cool Rurouni Kenshin and Cowboy Bebop ones. Didn't see any Hellsing ones. I'd kinda like to get the Hellsing shirt with the red silhouette of Alucard. That one looks awesome. (It's probably the only one I could get away with, anyway. I'm pretty sure Dad wouldn't take kindly to a shirt with Alucard smirking insanely and clearly displaying his vampyre fangs. **laughs.** He'd probably have a conniption if he saw that wallscroll that Media Play has.)

I found one red tie that's a possibility, but actually, I'd rather get a long red scarf and tie it in a bow to get that nice, drooping effect. There weren't any red scarfs there either, except one with black lace, and while it was cool, that wouldn't do for Alucard.

And it seems to be a slow night. I had wanted to continue the RP with Aubrie before late night, but it looks like that's not going to happen, since she's still not back from wherever she went. Lizzie has been the only one on, and we talked for a bit about how Otakon went. I also tried to talk about my Alucard costume, but I don't think she got what I was trying to say. XD; She must have been really tired.

Blah. Well, I need to go have a shower. And why do I have the nagging feeling that I'm forgetting to write about something. . . .

Chances are, I'll remember what it was as soon as I post this or log off. -.-; I did finally post chapter eight of POTT (which turned out to be mostly Aubrie's writings), and chapter six of LATT. Duke made an appearance in his Orichalcos-possessed state. And Alexander is appearing in chapter seven, in a dream Alister has. I also have to work out more of the Hellsing/The Andy Griffith Show crossover. I was telling Mom some ideas for it the other day. The fact that Alucard can walk around in the daylight will definitely help matters. I wonder if he's the only one who can do that.

... UGH! The phone keeps ringing! I am getting so annoyed with this. Why oh why can't my Internet be hooked up to the second line that hardly anyone calls on?

Crap. I got home just a few minutes ago and saw you were on, but I had to help Mom with groceries and when I came back you'd just left. Oy indeed. We'd decided to go ahead and go out, I didn't expect for us to be out even this long. --.-- We kinda got stuck at my grandparent's house. v.v;;; Then of course, it takes Mom forever to grocery shop. I was exhausted by the tmie I'd gotten to my grandparent's house, and that was maybe quarter till nine. If it'd been up to me, I would've been home then. --__-- I wanted to really RP too.

Yah . . . Hot Topic generally does have some pretty loud music, though usually they have a bit more of an anime selection than that. X_x The ones here even sell manga and stuff. Was it a small one? As for the Hellsing shirts, you'd probably have to order one offline to find one not so . . . graphic. XD;;; The one I saw at Hot Topic was pretty crazy. Though the idea of the scarf is probably the best idea.

As for Lizzie . . . well, I think nothing obvious needs to be said there. Of course, I was rather freakin' out of it this evening too. Muuuust focus. @_@

The crossover will certainly be entertaining. LOL There was a Hellsing ep where Ceras was walking about . . . It said on that one sight some vamps can go out in the sun, but they lose all their powers. Though I don't think that applies for Alucard since he's pretty much the last of the "true" vampires.

Yeah, I wondered if you'd wound up at your grandparents' house. XD;

Well, it was pretty small, and everything was jammed together pretty tightly, but there were a few manga, and some other books as well. I saw an Evanescence one that looked rather interesting.

For anime shirts, I also saw some Trigun ones and some FMA ones and some InuYasha ones, but of what I saw I was most interested in the Kenshin and Cowboy Bebop ones.

**nods.** Yeah, I figure Alucard probably has all his powers 24/7. Dunno about Seras, though. And how is her name supposed to go, anyway? XD; Is it Seras Victoria or Victoria Seras? I've seen it both ways, but since she isn't Japanese, it doesn't seem like her name should be backwards.

We'd planned on letting me stay there while Mom shopped and I was gonna get on the comp, but we ended up talking so long I just wanted to go. --.--

It's Ceras Victoria. **shakes head** It's confusing when people do that. I wanna know why some of those idiots think Walter's a vampyre. . . Unless it's something that happens in late volume seven/eight. But I doubt it. --.--

From what I've seen on the first DVD, I'm not too sure. I prefer calling her Victoria though, because it makes more sense that way around rather than calling her Seras with Victoria as her last name... o.o; Has more of a ring to it? XD

But then, thats just me. ^^

Actually, I had wondered if Seras Victoria were her first and middle names and that her last name was never given. **laughs.** But that's too odd. That's probably not it.

Heh . . . No, her name really is just Ceras Victoria (I am kinda tired of seeing "Seras" -.-;;; They use Ceras in the manga, and I think it looks cooler). There's many times where they address her by her rank and it's always used with Victoria. It took a while to get used to. **shrugs**

How embarrassing. --__--;;; **just looked in her manga** I could've sworn it was "Ceras". I still like it better though, but whatever. My mind is leaving me . . .

I have no idea what you all are talking about, as I've never seen (or heard of)the show... ^^' (so culturally deprived I are be.) But personally, Seras Victoria sounds better than Victoria Seras... *shrug*

Yeah, it's always annoying when there're a million people on hold for the thing you want. XD;

At the moment, Hellsing is a favourite anime and manga for me, (next to Yu-gi-oh, of course) though I preffer the manga, as it goes more in depth with Alucard and Integral. Though I don't think that much of how they've animated Seras. =/ She looks rather strange.

Hot Topic doesn't really sound like something that would impress me, either. I know that I wouldn't enture into one anyway. It sounds far too boring for my tastes.

Heh. Oh how I wish for the old internet connection that we had. Then I could plug it in with the assurance that nobody would be able to get through when I suspected unwanted phone calls.

The manga is more awesome, of course. Though have you seen the stuff for the Ultimate OVA? Seras gets animated 200x better. And there's Pip! Yaaay. Not to mention Rip and all the Nazis and stuff. From the looks of it, it puts the first anime to SHAME.

Hmm... Would it have been possible to remove the lace on the scarf? Or maybe, it would be cheaper to just get a yard of fabric and make one if the scarves are on the expensive side?

Hmm. Maybe it would be possible. I'll probably look around at some places that would be more likely to have scarves. ^^ I can probably find one that's not too badly priced.... I have one at home that would be perfect, only it's cream. XD; And it is shortly shorter than I'd like. But I'm using it as a guide to find what I'm looking for.

*snicker* Yeah, that seems to be the standard for Hot Topics...I don't even know that ours has any anime-related stuff beyond t-shirts. Mostly it's just filled with faux leather and spikes and ratty fishnets and angsty-wangsty demigoths. I only go in there when I need something for a costume...or to laugh at the demigoths. "The pain in my soul is infathomable...ooh, these candles are half-off!"
