**pondering.**
Pondering while being rushed, eh? XD Kinda a contradiction. Buut I've been wanting to write this since I was shopping earlier, so here goes!
I was out helping Dad pick out things for the kids in our large family and realized how hard it is to pick something fun and "girly" compared to something fun and "boyish." LOL. Seriously, I never was like the other girls. I was always my own person, with my own agenda, and Heaven help anyone who got in my way XD
I never liked dolls much. They weren't cuddly. LOL. So I became a plushie fan. Oh sure, occassionally I would have fun playing with dolls, but I would always go back to my plushies. The only kind of dolls I really like are the 12-inch collectible kind of special characters (like the Sailor Moon ones).
I was never into Barbies much, nor did I like fairy tales. I like fantasy, and sometimes I would like fairy tales for the fantasy aspects, but I frankly abhor die-hard romance (except for that pairing of Yami Bakura/Yami Des, for reasons already stated) XD There's so many better things to write about than that stuff.
The kinds of shows I've always liked are things like the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (I wanna watch the new version of their show!) and Darkwing Duck. I need plenty of action, adventure, kewl characters, and suspense to keep me entertained.
I've often been the odd one out when it comes to certain likes and dislikes, but I don't really give a darn. XD I like what I like and that's my business. I don't suddenly change everything I'm watching just because someone else thinks I should. All hail action shows! My dad often objected to my interest in the Turtles, for example, but I saw something good there and I kept pursuing that fandom >3 Any fandom I get into, it's because I've seen something worthwhile there. ^__^ I don't just climb into a fandom without a reason. LOL.
I finally got to do my snow scene! **happy.** Aww, it's so sad and sweet at the same time! ;__; Friendship and sibling cuteness will rule the world!
I need to think of a good story plot to go with a Helen Reddy song I love. It's been two weeks or so and I still haven't had a concrete idea.
And oh man! I wanna see the Peter Pan movie when it comes out!!! I adored the Fox TV show they used to have based on that. It was really, really good.
I'd better be off. I have a million things to write and read and watch and do before Christmas! I am so rushed. **pokes stack of things that still must all be watched.**
