I definitely don't understand Aerith hate, or Tifa hate, for that matter. XD; I know a lot of people bash one because they like the other and want Cloud to have her, but there's also people who just don't like them for whatever reason, and I don't get it. They're both very human, well-rounded characters, and I don't see that either one of them is so terribly annoying.
I think the only time I was ever somewhat ruffled by Aerith was when she had Cloud dress up like a woman and was teasing him about it, because I don't like seeing men I like being made fools of. XD And yet the same time, I'm terribly amused by Cloud's predicament. I contradict myself.
I know one person didn't like Tifa because she didn't tell Cloud what she remembered of how Nibelheim went, but gosh, she knew poor Cloud was already in a bad mental shape. She was just terrified that he would get even worse if his false memories fell apart. It may have not been the right choice, but it's not like she was doing some horrible, mean thing. Always wished I'd asked that person more about such a viewpoint. XD;
