Dec. 4th, 2003 06:02 pmPondering on stuff again XD **is happy again after being a bit gloomy the previous night.**
I was thinking about how I don't want Marik to grow up. I want him to stay 16 and just keep being with his siblings ^^ I don't want some girlfriend (or boyfriend, in Ishizu's case) to enter into the picture XD I just want it to be the Ishtar siblings forever! **V!** They don't need to find people to get mushy with XD They're such a sweet little family already ^^ So what if it's not realistic for them to not age or get married on the TV show or in fics? Reality isn't always that great. I watch shows and write fics in order to escape reality, so I like to think that those characters will never change and that they'll always be there, doing what they always do XD A nice thought when things in reality go crazy. I luv the Ishtars (and the Kaibas) just the way they are. The Ishtars in particular have been apart for so long that now they need a good, long chance to just enjoy being together. None of them even seem interested in romance XD And I am so content to let it stay that way! Sibling cuteness rules the world! ^___^!
I've always kind of been this way. I don't like change, and I live in a sort of Never-NeverLand dream world. Since things don't always work out right in reality, I love the fact that happy endings can happen as often as I want when I'm writing. Heck, if I wrote realistically, Marik would've died a very long time ago @@ He's come through over one-hundred experiences of nearly dying, both in fics and RPs. That poor boy. **snuggles him.** But all works out well and he gets to keep staying with his siblings ^o^
It is true that I like the romantic pairing of Yami Des and Yami Bakura, but I think that's mainly because of the ancient Egypt backstory and how sad it all was for Yami B. To understand why I support the pairing you would have to know everything that happened between the two back in Egypt. Yami Bakura loved the woman, but because of some tragic misunderstandings he couldn't have her. I want Yami Bakura to get the girl back because she made him so happy when he had her before ^__^ That's why I like that pairing. Other than that pairing, I really don't support any romance XD
