My favorite Sailor Scout list seems to fluctuate almost weekly. Right now I've picked Pluto as my favorite. She's definitely the "loner" of the group (Saturn's a loner, too, while we're at it). She's aloof and distant, which I love in a character. Of course, Uranus is that way too, and she's another favorite. Pluto seems like a very deep character. It must have been so lonely, to just be there guarding the Gates of Time and know that if anyone stumbled upon them, they must be destroyed. Ahhh. Then to have Small Lady Rini as her only friend . . . so sweet. I like when there's friendships between people with differences in their ages like that. Another reason why I like the Marik/Mokuba friendship thing. And Pluto was willing to sacrifice herself to save Rini. I read that manga all the way through, but I still want to buy it for keeps. Friendship cuteness will rule the world!
If anyone doesn't like the Scouts I'm talking about here, I really don't need to be bombarded with comments about how they're so awful or whatever. So you don't like them. Fine. But I obviously do and I've found something good about each of them. I like Pluto because I can relate to her and because I always like the aloof characters. She's also a bit morbid, I guess, because of her "Dead Scream" attack XD Pluto's kewl.
I finally wrote the next chapter of YuleTide Terror! No better way to hang on to the holidays than writing a mystery story about them. I had the Rusty Chevrolet song and a couple of people thought I'd written it. I just put a note up saying I didn't. The note was there originally but because of some various garbage with uploading, I had to try again and forgot the note. I hope I won't get sued.
I have so many people's stories to read. I really have to get busy and start.
It seems that there's only one fandom at a time that I can write really good stories for. I think my YuGiOh stories are good and that I do the characterizations well, but with the other fandoms I want to write for it seems that I have a bit of trouble. I would luv to continue the Sailor Moon thing I started writing in August, but I've hit some snags and I dunno how to make the problem huge enough for the Outer Senshi to get involved. My guess as to why they weren't in the SuperS season (other than raising Hotaru) was because the problem simply wasn't of the same magnitude as the previous one. The Outers tend not to be involved in the normal disasters, it seems, and the Pegasus storyline simply does not seem to have the same "impending doom" feeling as the Death Busters and Professor Tomoe did. I do like the SuperS season, though.
The other reason I'm having trouble with that fic is because I'm straining to get the personalities right. I don't have that problem with YuGiOh as much, but I do with other fandoms. That's why I didn't get to write the Cowboy Bebop Christmas thing yet. But I still want to.
I'd better stop writing this and get back to proofreading what I have so far of Paper Flower's chapter 3. I'm also straining a bit to make things more detailed. It's hard sometimes.
I wish I knew where JP was. He hasn't been on for the last two nights. I know he was gonna move out to his mom's new place (he's been living with his sister), but I didn't think he'd move without telling me. And when he sends emails, he usually sends to both Hotmail and Yahoo to make sure I get them. So I'm guessing it's some kinda computer problem on his part.
