Music stuffs XD;
Jan. 14th, 2005 02:13 amI've been looking high and low for the song Children of Eve by Linda Eder because the lyrics show that it's a perfect biker song. I can't find it anywhere, except at a couple of those big-name music sites with free 14-day trials. Well, actually, I've only found it at one of those places. I tried eMusic first, but I had to get all signed up before I found that they didn't really have the song. In fact, they didn't have any of the songs I wanted. o.o; It was quite irritating, so I quickly canceled my trial. Now I'm with RealRhapsody, where I finally found both Children of Eve and Remember. But it doesn't look like I'm allowed to download them to my computer. XD; So after 14 days I'll lose them again, unless I decide to burn a CD or something. Wait. I don't think I can do that on this computer. . . . Blah. XD;
Aubrie was having major problems with her phone, so she wasn't able to get on for a long time earlier, but she did eventually make it and we got to do some of our RP. ^^ And when I got kicked by the phone, I amused myself by making an anti-Warshipping banner. (Warshipping is Seto/Alister, one of the most ridiculous pairings ever.) I also made another banner where Alister is shooting down rumors that he's involved in romantic relationships with any of the other characters. LOL.
I decided that I'm going to order an Alister plushie. I already sent an email to Setsuna-Kou at the anime shop. Now I've just got to select a couple of pictures to take to Kinko's and print out. Only problem is I need a full-body shot, one from the front and another from the back. I think I'll have to send her a copy of this Alister production art I found. XD; As well as a couple of color screengrabs. I have a good one to look at from about the waist up and also some closeups. ^^
Actually . . . I still needed to get a plushie for someone else. o.o; I keep hesitating because her interests fluctuate so frequently that I can never be sure if she'd still be interested in that character. XD; And we've kinda drifted apart since she's changed so much. **mushroom sigh.**
Let's see . . . what else is new. . . . I opened an LJ community for non-yaoi biker stuffs. ^___^ Any and all biker fans who will abide by my rules are welcome to join ygo_bikers. XD
And oh yeah. . . . I was gonna post another blurb. I wrote this yesterday morning, while I was waiting to continue the RP with Aubrie. XD; Since we've got more or less to this scene now in the RP, I'll post the blurb. This is also about mind-control, of course, but this blurb follows the RP version. There is one note I'll make, concerning near the end when it mentions Valon's past. No, wait. . . . I'll make that note at the end. XD;
