I have spent a good part of the day writing chapter five of Life After the Tears and throwing in a new twist or two. Now I must get the next chapter of POTT completed as well.
I spent a while talking to Darcy earlier about that idea that she had, the AU one that I talked about before where the premise was "What if Doom had never happened?" I'm still planning to do my version that isn't an AU (the one that's kinda the It's a Wonderful Life scenario, but not quite), and so I was telling her about it since she's planning to write a version that is the AU. Just wanted to make sure our versions wouldn't clash. XD;
Dad's attempting to fix the air conditioner so that it will work properly. Wish him luck! This heatwave has started up again after a brief respite on Sunday and Monday. -.-; Oh well. I can be grateful I don't live in Las Vegas. It hit 117 degrees Fahrenheit yesterday! Oy.
Speaking of Las Vegas, I wonder how Marty's doing these days. Maybe it's about time I dropped him an email. It's sad, but when Live from Las Vegas stopped running, we lost contact. Marty became the program director for the station, so he started being insanely busy.
Does anyone know how to help heal a bird with a torn wing? XD; I mean, do you just wrap the wing up, or do you have to sew up the tear first? And you know how angel wings are drawn, with that . . . smoothness on the top side and down the outside side? XD; As opposed to the feathers on the bottom and inside side? **Is this making sense?** Is that smoothness supposed to be a bone? **suddenly wonders if she's drawn Alexander with a broken wing instead of one that's just torn.** Dearie me.
BTW, I finally did my Nova icon. **pokes it.**
