Sleep-deprived giggles!
Aug. 7th, 2006 08:54 am**snerk.** June Addams showed me the manga versions of the mail room scene and the barroom scene. I prefer the anime versions of both, but I'm glad to finally know what's being discussed in the mail room. And my opinion that Gin would not have really shot Vodka still stands. XD I think he would have only done that if Vodka had been a traitor. It's the beginning of volume 38, if anyone **coughAubriecough** wants to look it up. I like in the anime version where they end up pointing their guns at each other THREE times. LOL.
And the manga version of the barroom scene **coughvolume29BusJackcase1cough** .... **giggles again.** Oh my.... It was so priceless! Gin and Vodka are seemingly oogling a singer at the nightclub, and Vermouth brings them the martinis in disguise. But Gin sees through it and pulls her mask off. Then she says that she's just teasing them because they're oogling the singer. Then there is this dialogue, which is so great. And I think after the current stuff in our RP, Aubrie will especially appreciate it. XD
Vermouth: So ... how about tonight? Want to make some martini?
Vodka: Martini?!
Vermouth: Didn't you know? It's gin and vermouth mixed.
Gin: Heh. Mixing black and black ... will only give you black.
**snerk.** My sleep-deprived mind is finding this all terribly hilarious. I had extreme insomnia earlier.
I've been drawing Gin and Ayumi again. I think I got Ayumi done better this time. She's sitting on Gin's lap and hugging at his arm, and he's just looking extremely dazed and bewildered. XD He just can't comprehend why she likes him so much. And he has some sort of affection for her, though he would never admit it and probably doesn't even consciously realize it. He's almost absently laying a hand on her head. It's cute. XD
The picture gave me the inspiration I needed to continue Evil Never Dies, too! Chapter 2 is now up and I think I have a better idea where I'm going with it! **pleased!**
By the way, on an unrelated note, can anyone give me some hypothetical ideas for how Vodka could end up ... drowning?
