Mar. 1st, 2007 07:10 amPanic! at the Disco's weird song There's a Good Reason These Tables Are Numbered, Honey; You Just Haven't Thought of It Yet is terribly amusing. XD At first I thought of Yami M wrecking havoc. Then Aubrie suggested Yami B as well, and I found an AMV with the subject. Then I got the really crackish idea of Siegfried singing it, and it wouldn't leave. So I started making icons. I'll probably include Yami M and Yami B too, and Gin got in there as well. XD ("The cigarettes are laced with WHAT?!")
A KH oneshot has been bugging me for the past few days, and yesterday/today it came to a head. It made me write the whole thing down and post it. It doesn't even fit in with my latest fic, the multi-chapter one. So I had to post a note that says it's a partial departure from the timeline and is an alternate story taking place after the first KH fic I did.
I liked the title fine when I first named it, but a few hours later I realized how downright fangirlish it sounds. XD; But it wasn't my intention at all, since it's really part of the name of an attack Sephiroth uses. And I still think it fits the fic, so I didn't wanna change it.Just in case anyone sees it and thinks I'm fangirling.
I came to the decision that I'm obsessed with nearly every possible aspect of Cloud and Sephiroth's relationship: rivalry, grudging allies, mentor/student, and friendship (the latter mainly just in certain circumstances, such as both of them having their true memories blocked in Twilight and Dawn). And I'm obsessed with both versions of the characters. XD My KH fics use a combination of the first three aspects. While I use KH Sephiroth's base personality as a guide to writing FF7 Sephiroth sane, I don't really do the mentor/student possibility with the FF7 characters.
For example, I think FF7 Sephiroth is very weary, when he gets back his memories in Twilight and Dawn. I can't really imagine him wanting to mentor Cloud then.Though there's always pre-Nibelheim to try that angle! Cloud instigates the battle on the roof, and Sephiroth fights with him, but he really doesn't want to. I'm thinking that everyone will still be on Earth at the end, and Sephiroth just goes wandering off by himself. Though in a sequel he either comes back or someone finds him.
I've also noticed that KH Sephiroth is a lot more laid-back than FF7 Sephiroth, both the way he comes out when I write for him and the way he acts in the KH games. But then he doesn't have Jenova and mental instability weighing him down. XD;
KH Cloud is very snarky. XD Kinda like Cloud in parts of the FF7 game, I guess, but moreso. He's really fun to write for. He gets confused/annoyed, with Sephiroth, himself, or both, and then snarks more as a defense mechanism.

This is the color version, but the sketch version is there too, and has more of an explanation. I was afraid that color would destroy the texture of the wings, but instead it accentuated them! **pets.** Soft and downy....
I need sleep. XD
