Ah, timelines.
Aug. 6th, 2007 08:28 amCrisis Core is going to be out in a little over a month. X3 I've been looking forward to it for ages, though at the same time I dread it because of how sad it will be. ;___; And I know it's probably going to send my timeline down the drain. XD Not sure what I'll do then, if I'll overhaul things to try to make them fit, or if I'll just leave them as is and just say that I'm now writing AU. I've been wondering about it for months. Aubrie and I still have our timeline for our RP, even though the last arc of YGO sure sent it spiraling into AU territory. But an RP timeline is different from a big fic timeline.
I've had a feeling for a while that Seph and Zack probably didn't go on many missions at all; that maybe they only even went on the one to do with Genesis (other than the Nibelheim thing, of course). I desperately hope not, but that's what I suspect from the trailers (in spite of the powers that be saying that Zack is one of Seph's few friends). In any case, I'm not the only writer who likes to write them as going on quite a few missions together. ^^ I have absolutely zero interest in writing either one of them on a mission with someone else. XD; Doesn't mean I don't think they did that, but I just don't feel like I need to show it, and I don't know why I would need to.
One thing I'm happy about is that I think my KH timeline will never be proven impossible. Especially since KH3 is supposed to be a prequel. Unless it shows how Cloud supposedly split into two people. Then I'm screwed. **never liked that concept, and loves how ambiguous KH2 is.** And the scene where Cloud is surrounded by Heartless and Seph comes and destroys them, then taunts him about how he lives in the past ... so much love. Taking everything in KH at face value, my version of things, with them as two completely separate people, could easily be slipped in without disturbing canon. X3
When I hear the FF7/KH characters in my head, I usually hear their English voices.I love Steve Burton and George Newbern as Cloud and Seph! X3 Zack and Aerith are about the only exceptions. I like their English voices too, but I hear their Japanese voices instead, speaking English. Kenichi Suzumura gives Zack such an adorably cheerful voice!
I've known for a while that he was in the Ouran drama CDs, but I didn't know he was also in the anime until just recently. So I had to try it again because of that. I still think it's too outlandish for me, but dang, I love listening to Hikaru's voice. And I did find some of the bits hilarious, like Tamaki's speech about beautiful things.
And speaking of George Newbern, finally went and looked on YouTube for some Justice League clips. It is strange to hear Sephiroth's voice coming out of Superman's mouth. LOL. Well, Superman doesn't sound quite as deep, but I could still recognize the voice. And now that picture floating around on DeviantArt of KH Sephiroth pulling off his coat and revealing the Superman logo makes sense! **dissolves into disturbed, sleep-deprived giggles.** I've known for months that George Newbern plays Superman, but I just didn't connect it with that pic until the other day.
