fairytale_redux didn't hurt, either. (I'm surprised more people haven't joined that comm. It's a very intriguing idea. I usually don't like fairy tales, but I know a lot of people do.)
The whole story is a twisted tale being relayed to KH Cloud and Seph by Zack when the power goes out. He brings in elements from other fairy tales as well, most notably Beauty and the Beast, though Snow White is the main story he's following. Throughout the story, Cloud and Seph snark over its progression and the characters' roles within it. (Kinda like MST3K, maybe?) And during the scenes in the story, the fourth wall will probably be broken at times, with the characters talking with Zack, the narrator.
Total crack.
Not to mention I get to fangirl Sephiroth in the descriptions as the wicked Queen watches him in the mirror.
