Did this, am doing it again. Was interviewed by Stacey. ^^
1) What do you think of the Kleptotwins? The idea of Kaito and Yuffie being twins is very unique and fun! You and
javits make it work so well. It flows, almost, and it doesn't seem strange or OOC at all.
2) If you had the choice between never being able to write again or never being able to listen to music, which would you find most tolerable? If neither, why? Oooh, tough one. But I'd really have to say I must be able to keep writing, if I have to pick just one. Writing is my passion. I'd really be upset if I couldn't sing or draw, but writing I love above even those things. However, music often inspires my stories, so if I couldn't listen to it, it might dampen my inspiration a lot. So above all else, I'd want to still be able to do both.
3) What's your irrational fear, if you have one? I have several. One is that I'm always afraid I'm going to screw something up and that when something does go wrong, it's
always my fault alone. Which is irrational both because it takes two people to screw certain things up; it wouldn't always be just one person. And also it's irrational because some things are nobody's fault.
4) Favourite kinds of things to eat? Pizza, fried chicken, just about anything if it has cheese on it. X3 Mild cheddar ... yum.
5) Why do you think Zack and Sephiroth are often portrayed as being such good friends? Because it works! X3 Even in the original game, there were hints, since Cloud's memories were all mixed up and it was really Zack with Seph in the flashbacks. Their personalities mesh together so well, it's just amazing. Zack helps Seph to loosen up, and Seph helps Zack to mature. They both grow and learn from each other. And with Crisis Core out, and all the new scenes we've got, plus the creators' admission that Zack is one of Seph's few friends, well ... paradise. X3 Seph really is a good man, and he really does open up to Zack. And Zack really does seem to come to really like Seph as a person, not just idolizing him. Ahh, FF7 canon, I love you. Can't say Square Enix doesn't know their fans! ^^
And here's a second interview, by Lisa. ^^
1. What was your favorite school subject? Hmm.... Despite my love of writing, I really couldn't stand my English class. XD; Mostly it was the teacher making it unfun. But I really enjoyed the Science classes, both General and Earth. And Geography and History were pretty cool. And Literature was usually enjoyable. Out of all of those ... hmm.... Hard to pick just one, but maybe Earth Science. ^^ So many pretty pictures in the book, and such fascinating stuff. X3
2. Current favorite song? *is unoriginal XD* Current fave.... **muses.** God Help the Outcasts has been on Repeat a lot over the last few days, so maybe it would be that. XD I was really surprised when I watched The Hunchback of Notre Dame and heard it for the first time. Not what I expected to hear in a Disney movie! And of course, now playing it is inspiration for the fic.
3. I've been wondering for a while...What's a typical day like for you? You're so...nocturnal. XD; X3 I love being nocturnal, but I do wish I wasn't quite so much that way as I am right now. The schedule got even more nuts after we kept weird hours during the move. A typical day would be sleeping for a bit in the morning/afternoon, getting up and letting the computer boot up while I run in the bathroom, eating/chatting/writing/listening to music.... Usually there's a family get-together at some point, where we read books or watch stuff (right now we're on a One Step Beyond kick. It's like The Twilight Zone, only the cases have been documented and recorded as true, so it's very fascinating). Eating again, of course. And then writing some more, maybe watching something if I'm in the mood.
4. So, what's your favorite to explore, the relationship between Cloud and Seph in KH, or in FF7/T&D? *Ha! The tables are turned! XD* A good question. XD I go up and down with it. Sometimes I prefer KH, because it ... well, seems more *mine*, since I've crafted so much stuff, entire backstories and whatnot. Sometimes I prefer FF7, because it was the first and the most detailed, as far as canon goes. And T&D is such a fun verse to play in! So ultimately I'm happy with either one, but sometimes the inspiration flows more for one than the other. XD Or sometimes I'm particularly fixated on one set.
5. What would you do with a million dollars? Or you know, just any large sum of money. As much as it might be nice to give a completely unselfish answer ... I can't. XD I would definitely use some of it for me. But I'd also want to use it to help my family and friends, and cliché though it may be, I would definitely give some of it to charity, or use it to start some non-profit project of my own.
