Fic stuff. X3
Jan. 24th, 2008 08:44 amThe first draft of chapter 7 of Stars is done! I'll proofread and upload later today.
It amuses me that every song providing inspiration for the wing prejudice fic so far is Disney. XD Though, maybe when it's KH, it's not too off-the-wall. And the songs are all either very serious or dark, and sometimes both.
-God Help the Outcasts (the image song for the fic; from The Hunchback of Notre Dame)
-Hellfire (also from Hunchback)
-The Mob Song (from Beauty and the Beast)
-Savages! (from Pocahontas)
For Savages!, I get the mental image of the townspeople finally realizing there are a bunch of clones, and deciding to wage war on them as well as on the original winged men. And the clones preparing to fight back, indoctrinated by Hojo. And by this point, Cloud and Seph must be absolutely fed up with everything. Pocahontas's part, frantic to stop the battle, would belong to Zack.
Though Cloud and Seph are more the victims, as in The Mob Song, instead of being actively ready to destroy the townspeople, as the clones are. That is not to say that they are not furious, however, but they probably lay most of the blame on the ones pulling the strings behind everything.
The main antagonist's scene of riling the townspeople will hence be a combo of The Mob Song and Savages!, as far as the arguments against the winged people and the townspeople's reactions.
Of course, I still have to fit in the Restoration Committee and everyone on Cloud and Seph's side. Zack is rounding them up while this is going on. And I'm still working out the details of the climatic stuff.
