Fics

Advanced on the earthquake fic. X3 Mostly with introspections. Barret's interesting to introspect. I may be able to write the rest of the first chapter later today, after I get myself back into the mindset to really write the fic. XD It's the first real disaster fic I will have done, I think, unless we're counting Neptune's Wrath that stalled like ... three and a half years ago. XD; Whoops.

Was researching earthquake stuff for the fic and I dunno why, but the site kept messing with the browser. .__. It's not like it was some big, graphic-intensive site. It was actually pretty simple. But I couldn't navigate from one page to the next without problems! The browser froze each time I tried. Ugh. And when I closed the site, everything worked fine again.

Speaking of earthquake info, the Wikipedia page has a ridiculous section about the effects earthquakes have on human life. Well, it sounded ridiculous the way they phrased it anyway. They listed all these things, and then concluded with "The most significant effect is the loss of human life" or something like that. Kind of ... WOW, oh really?! I mean, Captain Obvious much? **headdesk.**

I also put up a new FAQ post at 30_hugs. Most of it I just copied from the original, but some of my rules are different, so I put up the new post in order to alter them.
