LOL, Crystal Rose's talk of Tintin and mysteries influenced me to have a mystery dream. This is now going to be the plot of a fic that I meant to write after Weep Not for the Memories, to show what happened to Dalton when he vanished (and got amnesia). Both he and the Jenova Corp crew end up involved in a smuggling mess because their companies are being used to get gems out of the country. And the bad guys have trained a cockatiel to help them, LOL. It will probably make all kinds of odd noises, like washing machines and toilets flushing, and totally confuse poor Cloud and Zack. There's also a subplot of a missing kid, but I'm still debating whether to leave that in or if I should move that part to Angels Among Us instead. It might be too complicated and out of place amid the smuggling thing.

I finally finished the first chapter of the earthquake fic, too. X3 That's a relief. I was wondering if I'd ever get it done.
