AURGH. **working on chapter 4 and seemed to stall.** Bakura and Yami Bakura are having another argument, involving Yami Bakura initially withholding the information of the attack on another character. (Which was done, according to him, because telling Bakura would serve no purpose except making him upset; plus, they didn't really know said character.) Bakura exclaimed that of course he was upset; anyone with a heart and conscience would be, but that didn't mean he shouldn't be told. I cannot think of where it should go from there. Maybe I'd better have the phone ring or some other interruption.

... And why exactly is pairing those two known as Tendershipping? Anyone know? Why not Ringshipping, since Yami Yugi/Yugi is Puzzleshipping? I know Ryou Bakura could surely be classified as tender, but that's not the case with Yami Bakura. He's the farthest thing from tender.

A lot of those names make little sense to me. I get Puppyshipping, and Puzzleshipping, but where do names like Chaseshipping come from? Is it because Tristan and Duke both chase after Serenity? And Silentshipping ... why is it called that? Because Seto would be more likely to be quiet around Serenity rather than some of the others? (Or because they only have one scene together, haha?) And Cheershipping ... why? Because Duke and Serenity are both side characters who cheer the others on? ... Or because there's some disturbing fanon idea about Serenity becoming one of Duke's cheerleaders? Oh please no. I detest the cheerleader concept the anime brought in anyway, and the thought of Serenity being part of it ... ugh.

Other oddness: Why is Yugi/Téa Peachshipping? "Anzu" means apricot!

And [livejournal.com profile] fannish5 brings this question this week: If you could resurrect/bring back five characters, who would they be? I decided to answer.

1. Yami Bakura, Thief King part only (Yu-Gi-Oh!). It's just too horribly sad to think of him being destroyed with Zorc, even moreso considering how his spirit was being taken over by Zorc. And though it's implied that he was destroyed too, I don't think it's said for sure in either manga or anime.... But seriously, he was in the first episode I ever watched (The Evil Spirit of the Ring) and I guess you could say he's my first favorite character. I'm not willing to let him go! **hugs him, even as he yells and curses.**

2. Dartz (Yu-Gi-Oh!). I know I should just let him go be in peace with his family in the afterlife, but he's such a fascinating character I wanna see more of him. And his interaction with Alexander is awesome and amusing and cute and squee.

3. Sephiroth (Final Fantasy VII). I wanna see the sane Seph back. Though I must say, Dissidia Seph is much, MUCH squee. X3 He really does seem sane, and so mysterious and intriguing.

4. Zack Fair (Final Fantasy VII). He's too young to die! ;___; The events surrounding his death are so tragic and heartbreaking, but of course it all had to be that way to shape Cloud into what he became. That doesn't mean I don't still wish Zack could return, though.

5. Aerith Gainsborough (Final Fantasy VII). And if those come back, Aerith should too. Zack without Aerith is too sad.
