Fic Musings
May. 22nd, 2010 12:58 pmLOL, I've been working on so many random oneshots this week while waiting for reviews on the multi-chapter. I had three backed up, but posted one yesterday morning. I'll post one of the others sometime soon, but I dunno if I'll post the third at all. I also have the Springheel Jack fic, which is moving slowly. And now I've started chapter 5 of the multi-chapter.
What I posted was a ficlit where Autor is conversing with Fakir, and I still wonder if I'm going to be flayed for Fakir's fate.
What I have in the wings is introspection from episode #21, where Fakir is wondering who the heck Autor is. The other came loosely out of a weird, sad dream in which I was in a cemetery and saw a recent grave that was meant to be Autor's. I woke up wondering what the students thought who had witnessed the carriage accident, and the other oneshot happened. That's the one I might not post, but who knows.
The Springheel Jack fic got even weirder and crackier, with Jack draining the lifeforce of the person nearest to him when he revives. Then he becomes stronger and the person he leaves becomes like a soulless zombie. A very aggressive soulless zombie. I dunno if I'll really keep that angle, but it sure is cracky and fits with the nonsense of this piece. XD;
And I continue to wonder if people will think I'm trying to pair Ahiru and Autor in the multi-chapter. With Fakir in his state, Ahiru ends up turning to Autor for comfort, and it's much easier to write their interaction rather than Ahiru trying to talk with a Fakir so stubborn on insisting he's Lohengrin. XD; Ahiru and Autor are totally meant to be platonic, though.
I also have been working on a sketch for a scene later in the multi-chapter, but it involves a twist only one person knows about, so I don't think I'll tell the details. It's definitely been a difficult pose, however. **keeps having to alter things.**
Today I got the basic sketch done for a picture of chibi Fakir and Autor sitting back-to-back in the park. I love those two. Their canon relationship is intriguing and the thought of them being friends is squeeable. I like my concept of them having met three times as children.
Drawing characters sitting back-to-back, however, is extremely difficult and almost scream-inducing. But it turned out good, I think.
