Aurgh, the local PBS station kept saying on their schedule that they would be skipping The Case of the Prudent Prosecutor. Last night they were going to air the one right before it and then skip into the fifth season. They have at least two rotations, each one containing different sets of episodes.

But they changed their minds. Last night I turned it on and saw it was The Prudent Prosecutor after all. So I ran madly about the room, tearing it apart to find a tape. After trying to catch it for so many years, I wasn't about to let it get away from me! I was sure I would want it for keeps. I finally found a tape and got it going right before the really juicy stuff happened.

And I was right: it definitely was something I wanted for keeps. While it was exciting to see Paul Drake's Dilemma, the other one I've wanted to see for so long, this one was much more squeeable. The interaction between Perry and Mr. Burger was just perfect, and there was so much of it! I wanted to watch it again. I haven't had the chance yet, but I fully intend to.

Amusingly, since I'd given up on seeing it on TV, I previously added the disc to Netflix. I decided to leave it there, since the PBS episodes are edited. I want to see if there's any more juicy stuff in what was cut out.

I've also advanced more on the fic. It's supposed to be multi-chapter because I think that would flow better, but I'm not sure how long it will be. I kind of think not too long. But I'm getting all the more excited about the intricate mystery I'm crafting. For all the suspense scenarios I do, I rarely write actual mysteries, whodunits with clues and such. The YGO mysteries were largely written on the fly, with nothing planned in advance. This is different, very planned out.
