I finished the Halloween fic! It clocked out at over 15,000 words, and is definitely being posted in several segments at FF.net. And it will have to be posted in two parts onoctoberwriting later in the month, unless LJ has changed their word limit. I'm very pleased with how the fic has come out. http://www.fanfiction.net/s/8583453/1/
I'm also working on the ten 1,000+ word ficlets for the other part of the writing challenge. I ended up starting an arc that continues a depressing death blurb I did in August. Andy was killed in that. In the new ficlets he's back, of course, but something supernatural and topsy-turvey happened. That was a surprise on me.
I'm using31_days themes to write the ficlets. They have a lot of awesome autumny prompts this month!
