So I'm trying to keep about four or five multi-chapters in the air at once. It's certainly interesting and a lot of fun. I updated the Nancy Drew one again the other day. ((http://www.fanfiction.net/s/8940274/1/) I love writing for her; she's kind of a combination of the book Nancy and the TV Nancy. And I'm starting to plan and write scenes ahead of their time. That's always a sign I'm getting excited.
The Perry fic is moving again (I'm finally to the point I've been longing to reach for months!) and I'm also plotting for the climax of the WWW fic. The U.N.C.L.E. elements are coming in a bit stronger now, including Mr. Waverly being abducted to force Lucius's hand and the revelation that there's a doomsday device set to go off in a day.
I'm still unsure if Lafe will stay with Coley when everything is over. But I've been trying to decide what to do with Snakes and I think I have that figured out now. I believe that during the climax, it should be Snakes and Lucius who end up hurt. Lucius is hurt while either protecting his ancestors Lucrece and Pinto or Mr. Waverly, or all of them. Snakes is hurt trying to stop the doomsday device. (Heaven knows why he's the one up there with it at the last. That's a detail I have yet to work out.) I'm debating whether they should find his body or if they just find his hat and think he was blown up in the explosion that destroyed the device.
I didn't really expect to become fond of that little weasel/snake. I don't think a lot of him in the episode. But he's been fun to write for and I'm enjoying trying to figure out how to expand his character beyond being terrified that Lucrece and company are going to kill him.
I've been testing some U.N.C.L.E. pieces to see how well I can write Napoleon and Illya. I had a bit of prior experience writing for them in a role-play, but these are my first fic attempts. One has them meet Lucius. The other is that addendum to The Prince of Darkness Affair where all the Aksoy brothers are alive. LOL.
I've also been working with some YGO stuff here and there. I wrote a couple of pieces last week, one for![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-community.gif)
ygodrabble and one for 31_days (the latter being a Perry Mason crossover), and I even started the next chapter of Close Your Eyes, Clear Your Heart. I didn't get too far into it, though.
The Virginian fic is the next one that needs an update, but I may go back and forth between writing its next chapter and the WWW fic's, since I have a stronger idea of where the WWW is going again now.
