I'm rather proud of the vignette for today. I was highly intrigued by the prompt, "The knight wonders what, exactly, he rescued", and used it for the scene when Ecks comes back to the motel to tell Wye he's spotted Illya and wants to start this stalking campaign.
And I wish that everything wouldn't suddenly become available at once. I learned the other day that there is now a Sunset Shimmer plushie! I just adore her so much; she's my second favorite after Twilight Sparkle now. I'm wondering if there's any chance Wal-Mart will get her for Easter, like they got Trixie and Muffin in so fast last Easter season. But since they just restocked with Rainbow Power Ponies, I don't have much hope of that. I'll look anyway, though.
There's also Scootaloo and supposedly a Sweetie Belle. The Scootaloo looks really plump compared to Sunset, though, and maybe I'd rather stick with the Build-a-Bear versions of her and Sweetie Belle, so they'll properly align with the Applebloom I already have.
Then I found a G1 Pony I've wanted for quite a few years, in good condition. (Yes, just like the previous two years, springtime brings on the strong desire to get more G1 Ponies.) I'm looking over the seller's other Ponies to see if there's anything else I want now, too. I prefer buying more than one Pony from a seller when possible, for two reasons: it eases the blow of shipping charges, one of the things I detest most, and I'm such a sentimental dork that I think it would be nicer for a Pony to make a journey to a new home with a friend from her old home. **headdesk.** (Of course, if there really aren't any other Ponies I want/can afford from a seller, I only get one anyway.) She has some other Ponies I've wanted, but not quite in the condition I hoped for, so I passed on those. However, I'm trying one other Pony, one I've wanted since childhood. I'll find out tonight about her condition.
Then the season 2 Luna comes out on Friday, but I'll have to put her aside for the time being, I think. I totally want her, though. Completely aside from the fact that I like her character, she's MIDNIGHT BLUE! I don't think any other Pony has ever been midnight blue.
