Jessi-Chi has now told me in detail about both the Howl's Moving Castle movie and the book upon which it was based. I am so glad that the movie omitted some of the things in the book. @__@ At one part, she said that the witch takes these two guys, takes them apart, and then takes pieces from each of them to put together. And I don't say this very often, but I think this calls for it. WTH??! That is so sick. -___-; That's a million times worse than anything in the Harry Potter fandom. Thank goodness that's not in the movie version.... I don't see as how it had any relevance to the main plot anyway. That's probably why Miyazaki-sama removed it, and the other stuff, as well. I told her I'd probably like the movie version best, if I liked either one. XD; The movie version sounds more magical, like Miyazaki-sama's stuff always is, while it sounds like the book is trying to make fun of all the fairy tale clichés and hence, is probably more humourous (and it sounds like it has very dark humour at that).
I finally got chapter 4 for Life After the Tears done. I included a civil author's note in which I requested for people to stop leaving "reviews" that were only questions about other stories. That's so frustrating when they do that. Now I need to make good on what I promised Aubrie before she left and get the next chapter of Phantom of the Theatre done.
And I finally broke down and had to admit that I like Winx Club, in spite of its flaws (which I still say it has). XD; A couple of weeks ago I joined the LJ community for it, and I'm happy to report that the people there are very mature and intelligent. I was afraid that I'd only find rabid fangirls. XD; Thank goodness, I haven't seen even one in that club! ^^; The community mommy is very firm about idiots staying out. She just booted one earlier. Now I wish I could see W.I.T.C.H. as well, so I could compare the two shows. I often see people saying how alike they are.
