Well, I wasn't going to post this picture in my Scrapbook, but Side7 hasn't gotten to upgrade my account again yet, so here:



I got hit by more insomnia yesterday. Ugh. Sometimes it stays for a week. I hope it won't this time....

I watched the music videos for Like a Virgin and Bad to see the kinds of things Weird Al parodied visually, since I already know how he messed with the lyrics. XD The entire Fat music video is a parody of Bad, and it's just so priceless to watch one, then the other! And the lion in Like a Surgeon is there because it's a staple in Like a Virgin. Also, Weird Al imitates some of Madonna's actions and dance moves. LOL. It's definitely something to see. Weird Al is a comedic genius.

I ordered DC movies 5 and 8 from meganimedvd.com and I got the email that they shipped yesterday. ^^ Now it says that Countdown to Heaven is out of stock, so I must have gotten the last copy.

I wrote chapter 3 of Evil Never Dies! I'm so pleased. Now I really know where I'm taking it! I'll start chapter 4 later today. This will probably be the same length as Ghosts, possibly shorter. Probably not longer. And I dunno if I'll be doing flashback scenes in this one. I love how intense it is, especially with the Gin and Vodka angle.

Last year my cosplay aspiration was Alucard (and I never did get to gather things together for that to happen). This year, I've been toying with the idea of being Gin. XD

^___^ Yeah, a sort of gentleness was what I was going for. XD A hardened assassin who has some sort of affection for one little girl, even though he can't/doesn't/won't recognize or acknowledge it. XD

Yes, the fifth movie is the only one that has the Black Org at all, isn't it? They need to be included more!

Haven't seen the trailer for 8, but the summary definitely made it sound exciting.

That's okay, just whenever you have some free time. :) I calculated that if I do a chapter per day, I should get Evil Never Dies done by the end of the week. XD We shall see what happens!

I'm quite proud of it myself! I particularly like how Vermouth came out (since it was my first time coloring or even doing an icon with her in it) as well as the martini glass itself (I did various things to give it more dimesion and give more of a effect of liquid inside. I looked up dry martini on Google Images and found a majority of them were a bit cloudy). Even though I haven't seen a whole lot of Vermouth, I love her for that one line. LOL

Ayumi turned out much better this time! ^^ She looks so cute!

Did you also know that Madonna is the nurse in Like a Surgeon? And that the title idea was apparently her idea? XD That is, if I remember it correctly. I remember watching a VH1 special on Weird Al and he said she was talking to him one day and said "Hey, when are you going to do 'Like a Surgeon' anyway?"

I need to finish watching Countdown to Heaven. XD The picture's rather small, albeit clear. It was subbed over, I think, Chinese subtitles, so it's also a little crowded. Bleh. XD;;

Yes, it all came out excellently! Your Google research paid off! ^^ And Vermouth's fun. XD I don't like her as much as Gin and Vodka, but she's the only other Black Org member I'm much interested in at all.

Blurgh. Crowded, indeed. It reminds me of trying to watch YGO season 0 episode 6 on YouTube. For some reason, the subtitles were TINY. I had to lean forward and squint to see them.

Wierd Al rules! I love the video to "Eat It." In the original video to "Beat It," there's a scene where Michael Jackson jumps out of bed and another where he busts into a bar. In the parody, you see a picture fall off the wall when Wierd Al jumps out of bed, and when he busts into the bar, he hits a guy with a door! xD

I think my favorite Wierd Al song is "Phony Calls" (parody of TLC's "Waterfalls"). Haven't seen the video to that, though.

BTW, the picture is pretty cool, even though I'm not familiar with Detective Conan. :p
