Find your Celestial Choir

Very interesting quiz indeed. ^^ I think it describes me fairly well.

Made a huge icon post today. XD Last night and this morning I went nuts making stuff.

I must try to wrestle with Guba again! I want to see movie 4 so badly. I wish someone would upload it on that channel that's similar to YouTube. I still want to see movie 7 a lot, as well, but movie 4 seems to be more rare, and I've wanted to see it longer, so it's top priority. XD;

I need to write chapter 3 of No Way Out. As with the previous stories in the trilogy, 2 develops things in the plot more slowly. And I think I may have caused some confusion with one twist I threw in. It's been coming for a while, but I wasn't sure where to put it before. I'm feeling things out, trying to make sure that they will lead up to Gin and Sherry finally meeting again during the final battle scene. Then, I've decided that when this fic is done, I will begin the multi-chapter "End of the Black Org" fic that Sherry was musing over in Good Enough for You.

I finally finished this enough to post it: http://www.side7.com/cgi-bin/S7SDB/Display.pl?act=image&iid=325586 I've always thought it's one of my best attempts at Gin, so I decided I really needed to try to finish it.

Ick, I know what you mean about Movie 4. Believe it or not, I FINALLY found a copy after, like, forever. If you want, I'll happily send it to you, since FUNi won't be releasing it for a few more years--at least.

That would be awesome! :) I'd love that. But what would you do for a copy, then?

When I send you the movie, it copies it from my computer, so we both can have one! The only question is how you would like me to send it. If you don't have a Gmail account, I might be able to send it via YouSendIt service or post it online somewhere. If not, AIM will work fine but will take 4-EVA. ^^*

Hmmm.... Would it be possible to upload it to that channel on Smart Videos that's like YouTube? **imagines that the whole movie will be huge.** XD; If you sent it through YouSendIt, I *might* be able to download it onto my Dad's computer (and then immediately have to put it elsewhere). I'm not sure, though. I'm slightly concerned about actually downloading it from somewhere, because movie 10 needed a codec and there wasn't room for it on the discs when Aubrie sent them, and then when she tried to send the codecs online, I still couldn't get it to play. XD; But if there wouldn't be those issues, I would definitely prefer being able to download it! ^^

Oooookay, so here's the dealie. I realized, to my dismay, that no service I could find would upload or send files the size of Movie 4 (in two parts, each over 600MB). O.O*

But I found where I originally downloaded it: http://nazonokami.com/

Click on "Projects", then "Detective Conan" (the only link there), then Movie 4. It's a torrent, though, so unless you already have a Bittorrent client, you'll need to download one.

If it doesn't work, let me know so we can try to figure something else out. You've gotta experience the Shin/Ran sweetness. (Btw, for such an Org fan, you must've seen Movie 5 . . . right?) ^^

Yeah, I'd have to get a Bittorrent thingie. XD **has never tried to do anything with Bittorrent, as it had always seemed so complicated.** And Dad would probably not like it if I had to claim his computer for several days to get it downloaded. XD;

Movie 5 I have seen, and I own! ^____^ Most of the pictures in my latest icon batch were capped from my copy of it. **pets it.**

Depending on how old your dad's computer is, and if he's cool with it, look up BitTornado and download it--it's quick, free, and safe. Once it's installed (which is usually simple), all you have to do is click a torrent link, then save the file to your computer for the download process to begin. That's the only downside, as torrenting large files like a movie can take hours; other projects can be done on the computer without disturbing the download, but the computer will have to stay on. Again, hope this helps!

It's a fairly new computer, though it wouldn't let us install the most recent version of Windows Media Player on it. o.o; And it's got a fairly good amount of space, though I'd want to download the movie to DVD-Rs, I imagine. Or CD-Rs....

Does your copy come with codecs?

Though I don't know what codecs are, if you're getting it straight from me, you shouldn't need any. The only problem getting it from me directly is figuring out how. I could send the file via AIM if you give me your name (mine's the same as LJ), but that would take eons to send. I'd suggest downloading BitTornado and downloading it from the site I linked; that way, only your computer has to stay on during the long download, which would make it easier for both of us.

XD Well, I figured that if your copy came with codecs, the codecs would install with the copy on the site you got it from. They seem to be things to help with the audio and visual elements.... They didn't fit on the discs with the pieces of movie 10.

I'm actually not on AIM.... Never cared for it much. XD; I prefer MSN, and I even find Yahoo IM superior to AIM, though it's been a while since I tried AIM and maybe it's improved since then. And I'm afraid if we tried to transfer it through any IM service, my computer would keel over. XD;

Then it looks like the only solution is to download BitTornado (or other, secure, bittorrent client) and download the movie from the site I gave you. It actually is rather simple, once you try; it's just that the download will take awhile.

Yep. XD; It's mostly the long download time I'm concerned about. I'll have to see exactly how long it estimates that this particular download will take. It would be great if it would do it all in one night!

Thank you! ^^ I love doing Gin's hair. XD It's so fun to give it all those realistic pencil strokes....

XD I'm not sure what the one for Mercurim says. I'll have to try to find out.
