I love Irish folk music, and dancing. It's awesome. X3 Reminds me of that Scottish/Celtic festival I went to in the summer.

... And I wish the video I'm trying to watch would load properly instead of buffering! **hates buffering.**

I've been watching DC AMVs on Veoh.com, and I've come to the conclusion that I could easily be a Conan/Ai fan, if not for two things. 1, Because I'm in love with Gin/Sherry. XD 2, Because what would happen to poor Ran? Sorry, SN and Claude, I don't consider Gin/Ran an acceptable solution. XD;

4Kids TV is now airing the original YGO along with Capsule Monsters! I'm so pleased. XD I always wanted to see the original YGO on that channel instead of the WB. And they're airing it at ten my time, too! Ah, memories. I still consider ten the YGO time. XD It was that for so long.

... Though I'm having an extreme urge to watch Battle City instead of Duelist Kingdom. I need to check YouTube for subbed Battle City episodes.

Guba.com decided to work again, for a short while, the other morning. I was able to play DC episodes #84 and #85, The Ski Lodge Murder Case, and I tried to watch movie 2, since it's in seven parts instead of two. Guba had a heart attack in the middle of the second part, and now it's acting stupid again. -.- I need to see if I can play the rest of that movie downstairs, because I was getting interested! Eri seemed to play a big part, and it appeared that an old enemy from the Mouris' past was coming back. X3

I finally finished what I've been working on all week, too. Then I fixed up chapter 7 of Breakdown ... and decided two weeks is also too much. XD; I wanna move back to the current night, instead.

XD Well, no official age has been given for Gin, but as you know, in my timeline he's eight years older than Sherry. I pictured Araide being in his thirties, though maybe I'm wrong. I wanted Gin to be young, but not too young, and not so old that he could look like a pedophile.

I blame Shinichi's and Ran's behavior on the manga-ka. XD; The story doesn't progress a whole lot because the characters don't always evolve and grow, as they do in fanfictions and RPs. I was just thinking earlier about how characters need to grow in RPs, or else things get dull very quickly. Oftentimes, in series, the characters become "iconized", and that is the (poor) excuse as to why they don't change.

Haraide is 25 years old for what I remember...
And yes, we dont know how old Gin is, but I picture him more like someone in hi sthirties...

That's why I tend to prefer fanfics to the manga itself...
Gosho is just too lazy with his romance and sacrifice without remorse his plot and forbid the character to evolves for them...>_>;
I could accept the "character not evolving thing" for some stuff(With all the corpses she had seen, Ayumi should have become insane, I prefer she's remain the naive and sweet little child we all know and love...^^;) but for the rest...-_-;
And Gosho could made evolve his character, he had done it beautifully with Ai, Akako and Vermouth, so I think he don't have excuse for not doing the same with the rest of the cast...

Ah I see. XD 25. Well, then, I guess it doesn't seem *too* bizarre.... I suppose he and Ran have actually interacted, even though I haven't really seen it happen. And how do we know when it's really him and when it's Vermouth? That's one thing that always confuses me when someone's impersonating someone else.

^^ I was just thinking that Shiho and Vermouth are the characters who have evolved the most, and once I read more Magic Kaitou, I'm sure I'll feel the same about Akako. And there's definitely not an excuse for not doing the same with the rest.

I figure, though, that Shinichi needs to shape up no matter who he'd be paired with. I'm sure it wouldn't just be Ran whom he'd be putting after his cases. Though Shiho would probably either keep assisting him on cases to be with him, or else just flat-out not stand for being second. Unless she was so desperate to be loved that she resigned herself to being second.

If you have read the manga in the good order, you should know that...XD
Vermouth had switched place with Haraide between the end of the volume 24 and the end of the volume 42, so every interaction between the doctor and Ran before and after this period are interaction between Haraide and Ran...^^
And Haraide is a sweet and warmhearted guy(After all, he is the only person with Shinichi who consider than Vermouth is not a bad person...That's why I said than Vermouth/Haraide is possible...Xp XD), so it's very possible for Ran to loved him(And there is several time when Shinichi is jealous of the doctor because he believes than Ran had fall in love with him...XD)
Sorrowfully, this pairing is neglect by fics author... In fact, most of the authors could not paired Ran with someone else than Shinichi(And most of the authors don't write much about Ran when it's not a romance between her and Shinichi, and it bother me so much...-_-;)and it's trully a pity...Y-Y
And Haraide himself is neglect by the authors so...

In Mk, Akako is the only character who evolves, that's one of the reasons I love her so much...^^
For the rest of the cast, well, their relation evolves but never the character in themselves...
The relation between Heiji and Shinichi evolves, but the two rest the same... And it's the same thing with Ai and Ran(Well, except than Ai evolves in this case, not a good example...XD)...And it's also the same with Kaito and Hakuba in Mk...

Well, maybe it's just me, but I don't think the "beeing second"thing matter so much...
After all, the essential thing is not who was the first who was loved but who was the ones who will be loved in the end...^^
That said, I'm agree than in the beguining of a romance between Ai and Conan, she would push him to remain faithful to Ran... But she would not did that because she could not accept beeing the second but because she thought than Ran deserve to be happy(And in my opinion, she could even thought than Ran deserve much than her to beeing happy... And I could also picture her thinking than Ran is more suited than her to bring happyness to Shinichi...)
But well, it's just my opinion...^^

XD As I've said, I watch the anime more than reading the manga. And I don't have a lot of the anime available to me any more. I need to read the manga straight through, but since I don't have the time to do that, I usually have stuck to specific cases I want to read/or that were recommended to me.

And I meant Shiho being second while the cases are first. XD; I didn't mean anything to do with Shinichi having loved Ran first. ^^;

Well, I don't see Shinichi made her lovely cases beeing second for anybody...
That's why I tend to think he could not trully bring happyness to Ran..>_>;
But Shiho is, in a way, one of his case, that's why I love to think he would not neglect her...
Besides, Shinichi love mystery and Shiho is a mystery...XD
