She's a big Hojo fan and her characterisation of the mad scientist is beautifully twisted...Xd
Poetry in blood is wonderfully creepy and a masterpiece in the thriller/horror/angst genre... It's a prequel to the game, the first chapter is about the relationship between Hojo, Vincent and Lucrecia and take place before Vincent's "death". The rest of the story takes place between Sephiroth's death in Nibelheim and the beguining of the game. Vincent, Cloud, Zack and Hojo are the main characters, there is few well written and fleshed OC too(And not a single Mary Sue/Gary Stu).

Too much at the sun is a sequel to the game(and to poetry in blood). The turks plays a big role in this story, not only Vincent but Reno and Rude too(By the way, did I say to you than in this post-meteor story, Cloud and Reno have become friends? And both of them are keep perfectly IC...Friendship/partnership between Reno and Rude are explored too...^__-)

There is so much reason to read those stories...Original and coherent characterisation which put a new light to the character we thought to know before to read the fics, great plot, great writtings skills, and great illustrations... Because she is a pretty skilled fanartist too and made her own illustrations for her fics.

Does Too Much At the Sun take Advent Children into account, or is it supposed to be a replacement for it?

Okay, I started reading. **nods.** Actually, I could see this fic easily fitting in along with Advent Children. The characters act more like I'd imagine they would after Advent Children and not after the end of the game. I'm definitely impressed with the writing.

Cloud and Reno being friends is a cool idea, and it's pulled off very well! ^^ Have to say, I'm not that crazy about them being partners, though. **wants Reno partnered with Rude.** And I love Cait Sith living with the Strifes and being the baby-sitter. LOL.

The story definitely has a lot of depth already, even after just the first chapter. I'll be interested to see where it goes.

Yes but Rufus is not alive in this fic, neither Tseng, so it could not fitt along with AC.(it's ironic than a fic respect more the canon than an official movie by the way...^^;)

Don't worry, Reno and Rude would have great partnership scene in the others chapters. ;)

Actually, Poetry in blood is the only fic I've read(every fandom included, not only ff7) which could be as dark as too much at the sun...XD
I'm glad to see you are already interessed by the first chapter...^^ In my case, the beguining of the fic was a little too slow...But when the real bad guys are here, the fun begun and it's pure crack, you could not stop to read until you know the end...Xd

I don't recall it being official canon that Tseng was dead. XD; The fans just thought he was because of a mistranslation in the English version of the game. And Rufus could have escaped the exploding building. I don't think his survival violates canon, either.

Translation error, uh? And the bad translator had erased all the other scene with Tseng after this one because they were too lazy to edit their typo?
Because, if Tseng was alive, why did he disapear totally of the game after the scene in the ancient's temple?
Because he was dead?Noooo, it would be too simple, the translator were wrong obviously, it's faaaaaar more logical than the turks's leader disapear when he is the most needed by the Shinra and made his come back only after the conglomerate was crushed...^^;

I could buy Rufus beeing alive but for Tseng, an explanation is needed.And I don't find it in AC...

Well, I didn't know about this translation's error...But since the french translation of the game was a direct translation of the american translation, it mades sense.^^;
Well, always annoyed by the lack of logic in Tseng absence after the temple events, but at last, there isn't plothole anymore between the game and AC for me...

Oh man, I hate when one stabs oneself with one's fingernails. XD It's sooo annoying. Back when my fingernails were long I couldn't even like, get dressed without stabbing myself a million times.
