QUESTIONS!
1) Who was the best teacher you ever had?
2) What initially drew you to the Gin/Sherry pairing and/or the Gin/Vodka friendship?
3) Coke or Pepsi, and why?
4) If you could be any type of tree, what kind of tree would you be and why?
5) Are you an early-bird or a night-owl?
1. Hmmm.... Well, I've been home-schooled most of the time (save for a kindergarten nightmare, and during high school, when I had correspondence school). Dad and Mom were both really great teachers. XD Dad knows all about math, so he was able to help when I really got stuck. And Mom made English fun by having me write sentences about favorite characters, and by writing others herself and having me point out parts of speech.
In my correspondence school, I wasn't too happy with my English teacher. XD; She considered sentences with exclamation points to be an error. .___.; Sometimes there must be an exclamation point, in order to convey the feelings properly! **never knew that it would be considered wrong.** Lots of famous writers utilize the wonder of the exclamation mark.
Then there were Sunday school teachers at church. **ponders.** I had lots of favorites there, but I think my favorites, the ones who gave the most interesting lessons, were Mr. Stultz and Mr. Syphus. And I always wished that Mr. Smith would have been more than a substitute. XD He had a very unique approach.
2. Gin/Sherry ... oh, good one. Let's see.... When I watched the Rooftop case, 176-178, the idea of the pairing just sounded so twisted. And it sounded twisted in the way I sometimes find intriguing, maybe kinda like The Phantom of the Opera or Diamond/Sailor Moon. But I think the biggest attraction was that it reminded me of my first YGO RP pal, Des, and the twisted pairing we ended up with of Yami Bakura/Kythiopia (her character).
And then, just like what happened then, my hopelessly romantic side took control and wanted them to have a happy ending. XD; Which I still like, though now I'm thinking of writing three different endings or so for Snow White Queen, posting them all, and letting the readers pick whichever ending they like best. One ending would still be the originally planned one, of them escaping together. A second might be Gin being killed and Sherry coming to the conclusion that despite their feelings, it never really could have worked for them. And the third ... not sure.
As for the Gin & Vodka friendship, it's hard to say. XD There's always a couple of characters whose friendship/possible friendship/general relationship I want to write about, since that intrigues me much more than romance. And it's usually characters whom I'm not expecting to be writing about! For Final Fantasy 7, my favored friendship is Sephiroth & Zack Fair. Very unexpected.
**tries to remember.** Strangely, I think one of my main inspirations was the infamous locker room scene with Gin holding the gun on Vodka. XD Then I started thinking about how Gin had only acted threatening but hadn't done anything, and how long they might have known each other, what kinds of experiences they might have had, etc. etc.
And while I still love their possible friendship, I dunno whether I'll write anything more about them save Snow White Queen. XD **Always did feel uneasy writing about assassins in a series that's usually more realistic than many anime/manga series, and feels more at home writing for the FF7/KH crew.**
3. **ponders.** Whichever one makes Sprite. XD **though actually rarely drinks soda, and prefers 7-Up to Sprite.** 7-Up always seemed to have a more appealing taste, to me.
4. Oooh, intriguing. XD I seriously don't know, because I have no desire to be a tree. One of the twists on Winx Club lately was the headmistress Ms. Faragonda being trapped within a tree. Their lifeforces got entangled so that the girls couldn't even get rid of the tree easily without hurting her. It was all just so WEIRD. Much weirder, to me, than even when I had Sephiroth encased in stone. And encased, mind you, not turned into stone! **would never do that.**
Buut if I was going to pick a tree, I might say some kind of evergreen or pine, because I love Christmas trees and when it's winter and there's snow all over them. X3 But I wouldn't want to be a Christmas tree!
5. Night-owwwl. X3 Bad habit, but I've been a chronic nightowl for years and years. XD
Had insomnia for much too long because that weird oneshot was falling into place again. XD **now has decided she must start it.** And I got a cute FF7 plunnie! X3

Date: 2007-04-24 01:24 am (UTC)Uh...I think?
Do you mind if I ask why were you homeschooled? Like, was there a reason? Cos I once read that many kids are homeschooled cos they live in parts of the planet that aren't very inhabited. Like Alaska or parts of Australia.
If you don't mind, I'm just curious.
(oh and lucky you. Cos school's like a "social-adaptability" fuckin' nightmare)

Date: 2007-04-24 02:11 am (UTC)That said, it was interessing to see the reasons which get you in the Gin/Sherry pairing and the Gin/Vodka friendship, and I didn't expected that you will handle the end of Snow white queen in this way(but why not? It's a good choice to explore the multiple possibilities for one pairing).^^

Date: 2007-04-24 05:14 am (UTC)Does that mean the end of your DC fics, then? That'd be a shame! But I can understand why writing for assassins could make someone uneasy. >> And I think both coke and pepsi are equally icky. **prefers water or juice**

Date: 2007-04-24 05:26 am (UTC)I'm afraid Breakdown will always be incomplete.
... And yet I have no problem writing for someone who burned down a village, killed an innocent young woman, and tried to destroy an entire planet. Though I think the fact that the poor guy was insane redeems him a lot in my eyes, since we know he was a good person before it happened....
Let's see, questions....
1. Other than the Detective Boys, who is your fave DC character?
2. Overall, what is your favorite case so far?
3. What is your favorite friendship in FF7?
4. Are you familiar with Organization XIII in KH2?
5. Have you been on cemetery walks lately?
