Another Simple Mission is finished! I had chapter eight's first draft done on Saturday morning, but I tweaked stuff and made it flow better in the evening, then posted it. Then I worked on the epilogue. It opens with Seph giving a report of what happened, and it was fun using his narrative voice. I added stuff to the report several times, as well as additional conversations between him and Zack following it. I am finally satisfied. X3 And after fixing an oddity with the computer downstairs listing a different printer as the default (which probably happened when Dad was printing some pictures), I got it printed. 112 pages in WordPerfect, though it showed up as 117 up here on this copy of WordPerfect. (And yes, same version in both places.) **blink.**

Once I gather my thoughts, I want to work on Raise Your Hands to Heaven. But I also hope to work on some KH stuff again now. It's about time I finished chapter 10 of Room of Angel. It's hard, though, because it looks about half-finished and each chapter features a different narrative voice. And most of what I want to have happen next can only work with Seph narrating, but it's Cloud's turn. XD; Maybe 10 will just have to be a short chapter.

Got tagged by Lizzie for this some time ago. Haven't done it before both because of ASM, and because I have a hard time deciding what to put on these kinds of memes.

1. List seven habits/quirks/facts about yourself.
2. Tag seven people to do the same.
3. Do not tag the person who tagged you or say that you tag whoever wants to do it.

1. I cannot concentrate on writing original fiction. XD; It's not something I'm proud of, because I really want to get this doppelganger fic done. But I can only write original fiction in spurts every now and then. Fanfiction is my writing paradise.

2. I am obsessed with nothing being alone. Seriously obsessed. I took a Tic-Tac from the new box of Tic-Tacs because there were two in the old box and I only wanted one. And I've been like that since I was four or maybe even younger. Even though I know logically that an inanimate object is not going to feel bad that it's alone. It won't feel anything.

3. I must have at least ten books around here that I've started and haven't finished. Maybe even fifteen or twenty. And then the ones sitting around that I haven't read at all yet ... oh dear. And instead of reading them, I re-read older ones, like LOTR!

4. I like to re-read my fanfictions ... a lot. XD Shameless narcissism, maybe, but hey, I write what I like to read, and hardly anyone else writes it, soo....

5. I have started making time again to play my Sonic 3 and Knuckles computer game. I love it so much. And one day I will collect all 7 emeralds and go Super Sonic! Sonic 3 and Knuckles is better than Sonic 3 or Sonic & Knuckles, because it combines both games into one, and it lets you play as Knuckles on the Sonic 3 levels. X3 Though I prefer playing as Sonic & Tails, or just Tails, because of the interaction with Knuckles that you can only get if you don't play Knuckles.

6. I rarely watch TV. When I do, I think the only thing I watch that actually is airing on TV is Winx Club. Sometimes the news, occasionally a movie. (I saw Kiss Me, Kate the other week, on the PBS channel. Wasn't too impressed, other than Kathryn Grayson's singing.) Otherwise, I watch DVDs/videos. And that doesn't happen a whole lot, either.

7. I carry an old YGO notebook around with me everywhere, in my giant black purse. But I only use its pages for writing blurbs. For actual story scenes, I buy lined paper at Wal-Mart and keep stacks of it in the notebook. I've had the notebook since 2003, possibly even 2002, so it's pretty ratty by now. I have another just like it that was a present, and it's brand new and never been used. **will probably keep it that way, as memorabilia.**

XD I imagine I am probably about the only person in existence with such a quirk. LOL.

And I was tagged weeks ago, just never got to it. ^^

Oh, I was tagged for this meme?O_o
(blushes)
Well, it's the kind of offer that I could not refused(Besides, who will refuse an occasion to talk about himself?XD).
So, sooner or later, I will made my own entry for this meme. ^__^
That said.

1)Same for me. It bothered me in the beguining but now, I don't care anymore. I don't believe that fanfiction are inferior in nature to original work, so why bothers if my creativity feels pretty comfortable in the limits of fanfiction?
We should only wrote what we love to write.

3)I plaid guilt for that too.^^;
(sigh)
If books/stories(it implies my own stories) were women, monogamy is not for me... ^__^; XD

4)I'm not the only one to do that? And I feeled like a dirty narcissist...XD
That said, WORD to you way to explain it.
If stories writen by us didn't match with our tastes and expectation as a reader, it means somethings is wrong.XD
And it's so hard to find stories which match perfectly with our tastes when we're not writing them.

5)I prefer Sonic 3 and Knuckles because it allowed me to save what I've done instead of restarting the whole game each time.XD
And since I wanted to have ALL the emeralds with each character, I would have never done it without that.
(And Sonic&Knuckles=7 emeralds, Sonic 3&Knuckles=14 emeralds!*__*)
(Yes, I'm talking about the old version on Megadrive)
That said, playing Sonic 3 level with Knuckles was not a guilty pleasure of mine.
(My guilty pleasure was to play Hidden palace zone again and again to fight with Knuckles(for once that you're not fighting with Robotnik or one of his robot) and re-live the moment where Knuckles finally understood where is the good side of the force.)

6)I never watch tv, except to watch movie with my dvd player...And it's very rare for now(The last time was for watching Sympathy for Lady vengance).
I spent more time on Dailymotion to watch anime.XD

7)I never write on notebook, I prefer to write stories directly on the computer and I couldn't use outlines(I try once and it didn't work, the story had break the outlines's limits).
I wrote on notebook before, but I don't know if I had keep them.^^;

I love Hidden Palace zone. X3 I remember trying again and again to get through the lava level, and being determined to do so because I wanted Hidden Palace.

I only write in the notebook when I'm out of the house/am away from the computer in the house. XD I prefer going directly to the computer as well. Whenever I write in a notebook, I end up adding more when I start typing it into the computer.

Ooh

Yay for unfinished books!! LOL! I've got several unfinished manga volumes and at least TWO unfinished books. Yet, I will putting all those down to read the final Harry Potter book!!

And that's neat about the YGO notebook. DOes it have our beloved Marik on it? XD

I always wanted a notebook with Kaiba or Marik on it, but the only ones I could ever find featured Yami Y, one where he's alone and one with Duel Monsters in the background. I have two of the latter.

I was looking at my doppelganger fic a while back . . . I don't remember why, but grr, that needs to be continued. I just need to piece things together, some of the flashbacks are gonna take some work and "in the mood" things, like when Alchflaed was captive and tortured.

I can't help but wonder if the obsession in number two could explain also how you look and search into every relationship with people that seem to be loners for the most part for some sort of companionship. Merely a curiosity, but definitely the first thing I thought of. **can't help the urge to go totally Freud on you, as it's such an interesting idea and such** What's the age difference between you and the youngest sibling before you?

The books . . . **groans** I'm really bad about that. And the thing is, they're either just barely started, or almost finished. And when the later, takes forever for me to pick them up. Return of the King is a good example. >>;; I think it was about a year before I finished it after putting it down.

I found a lot of my YGO notebooks (and folders!) while clearing out my room. XD Some had stuff, some didn't. Those that had stuff were character and story plans. One for Drawn Curtain Comedy and the other for Free Falling.

Yes, it does need to be continued. X3 Definitely know the feeling about "in the mood" pieces. There's one story I just can't work on very much because it's so bittersweet. I have to be in a mood to not be bothered by the sad stuff.

I definitely have noticed that my preferred friendships involve at least one loner. XD Usually a very aloof, cold loner, unlike myself. Well, I'm not cold, at least. Age difference ... let's see.... The sibling I've had the most contact with is ten years older, but he's not the next in line. XD Closest age difference to me is Wow, I'm going to be 21. about three, four years.

I remember now one other quirk I was going to add to the list, which is that I consider it a weakness if I myself spill my most vulnerable feelings, and yet I don't think it's a weakness if someone else does the same for them. XD

XD Yeah, I remember that about ROTK. If I don't pick up a book for about a year, I find it better to just start over, usually. And then sometimes I can't be bothered to do that.

Yay character and story plans! I have all my YGO folders in the little bookcase that my TV sits on. Who'd think that paper could be so heavy? XD

I read most of the post of DEWM, BTW. ^^ Just haven't thought yet on what to comment, since I already knew the majority of the contents from when you mentioned them in the IM. XD

Another huge thing for me is to have the energy, since the scenes I was talking about are intense. Gruesome's not a problem really . . .

Hmm. And now that I'm awake again, I have nowhere to go with it. LOL

Yes, I recall this quirk. **glances to her own journal locked with several layers of F-lock**

Sometimes I might go and flip through the book, reread the chapter previous, but usually, other than that, I remember what happened and it'll come back to me more and more as I go further along.

Yah, I figured. XD

Love that icon. XD

**nodnod.** I didn't figure gruesome would ever be a problem for you. LOL. Mine isn't really gruesome, just sad. But it ends happy, so why the heck can't I work on it more?! XD;

Sometimes I try flipping through the book, and I realize how much of it I forgot. LOL.

Ooh, these memes are fun. But I agree, they can be so hard to think of stuff for! XD Haha, I've got an old fanfic notebook that's as old as yours, too. Mine's all bent and full of totally random doodles from when my friends would hijack it at lunch. >.>
