I am tempted to join kingdom100. I really shouldn't. XD; **has way too many theme comms already.**

Still amused/irritated over the self-insertion dream. Mostly amused, which is probably because I'm tired. And the thing's definitely a signal that I am freakin' obsessed. If it won't come out one way, it'll come out another. Though it was probably partially influenced by me telling Mom last night about the FF7 shipper wars and the people who like Aerith with Sephiroth. She said maybe they just wanted him to have somebody, and I said that Aerith is for Zack. X3 Honestly, though, I can't imagine Seph with anyone, really. And I find Sephiroth/Aerith just a highly disturbing pairing, in any case. XD Not just because I adore Zack/Aerith, either. Just ... no.

Truth be told, I don't think I've been as obsessed with a character since Marik. But even during that time, I'd gone past the self-insertion phase, which I went through big time with Kaiba. XD; Though I'd be lying if I didn't admit that sometimes, with Marik and Sephiroth, I've wanted to self-insert. Which probably also was coming out in the dream. Amusingly, my dream self did not like the idea of the book series; she retained my view on Seph being single.

In other news ... WTH moment on Winx Club. Baltor, who is pretty much the only thing I like about season 3, said that he used an absorbtion spell to pull Bloom's biological parents into his body, so if she destroyed him, she'd destroy them, too. Just ... WTH. **shakes head.** Though I guess stuff like that is to be expected from a magic-themed show. **shrugs.** Which is one of the reasons why I denied liking the show for so long. It's a guilty pleasure, really. I still want badly to rewrite season 3. XD And I would make Baltor be Bloom's father. Though there's always the chance that he could be her uncle, I guess....

I think season 1 really had the best writing overall. Season 2 gave us Layla, who is just awesome, but the bad guy was a moron. And season 3 just feels so hastily thrown together, it's a joke. No wonder it's the last season.

And wow, it's September 1st. To me (and to meteorologists) that means the first day of Autumn. I'm still trying to process it. XD

EDIT: My favorite scene from Kingdom Hearts II. X3 I finally found it by itself, and not tacked on to everything else. It's short, but awesome.

To me, from what I know of it all, Sephiroth/Aerith makes me think of the twisted fascination of Gin/Tazi. Has that same morbid feel to it, if Sephiroth at that point is two tacos short of a fiesta platter, that is.

Admittedly, it'd be somewhat interesting to see how you'd do a self-insertion now. Perhaps appease the dreams and make it an LJ-only thing. **has now gotten a bit curious, musing of the different ways it could handled**

The clip there makes me think of a potential scene between Vincent (or Vicious as I went back and thought of it, perhaps more appropriately so) and Spike.

XD Yep, if Sephiroth is off his rocker and has some bizarre fascination with Aerith, that could make for a disturbing, creepy, and admittedly possibly intriguing fic. Though I doubt his attraction would be romantic; probably anything but. And I'm trying to decide if he'd have any fascination with her all. After flipping, it seemed that he cared only about becoming a god and eliminating all obstacles in the way. Though Aerith was definitely his opposite, so I'm debating whether he found her strength interesting.

Hmmm, self-insertion fic. XD Now that would definitely be disturbing. **imagines glomping KH Sephiroth from behind and petting the soft hair and wings.** Even sane, any Sephiroth wouldn't like that. LOL. And if I tried to write a serious self-insertion fic, I'd probably scare myself too much to go very far with it.

X3 Intriguing comparison. I especially like the idea of relating it to Vincent and Spike; didn't Vincent say something in the movie about he and Spike being alike or something like that?

I think the concept of after he went nuts and the pairing reminds me of Gin and Tazi 'cause I think there'd be some possessiveness there, that very dominating side. .... I'm just way to fascinated by that idea though. It's delightfully disturbing.

Maybe, but I do remember when Spike was dreaming/hallucinating, Jet did say that Vincent had never really been alive and then said, "Just like you, Spike." Though definitely seems there should be some other line. Though there was also a line like that with Vicious, talking about also a beast that had lost his fangs, though before that there was maybe a comparison to Vicious being a beast as well.

**nodnod.** I have a terribly hard time thinking of even a nutty Sephiroth being like Gin, but that could just be me. XD I could see a definite dominant streak, but when I get thinking of the stuff Gin would do, and then trying to imagine Sephiroth doing it ... my brain breaks.

LOL. Well, if it was a serious fic, I would have to never fangirl or he'd try to use the Masamune. If I met him in real life, I'd probably keep staring at his hair, though. X3 But talking to him, I would probably be very shy and subdued, especially so since he's a man. And a very commanding presence.

Oh yeah, I remember that line of Jet's. And that beast thing with Vicious. I need to watch Bebop again. X3

Nah, I definitely don't think it'd match up exactly. I mostly meant the dominance streak. But I see Gin being more controlling . . . possibly among other things. He possibly has a blood fetish for one -- **shot for even going down that route** Overall, Gin's just more sadistic.

Someone has to have a pretty commanding presence for me to be subdued. Usually I can't keep my mouth shut and eventually have to have a comeback or question of sorts to make them stop in their tracks. Shi'han is possibly the only one that ever made me shut up that much.

I've certainly been meaning to, kinda like on the lines of rereading Death Note and stuff.

Oh yeah, Gin probably does have a blood fetish, or something close to it. That's been hinted at in canon, and it sure sounds like him.

XD The thought of you and Sephiroth talking and you standing your ground with him is amusing. I can see it, though!

I especially wanted to rewatch some Faye episodes, like My Funny Valentine. But I was too tired the other night. XD;
