1. I suppose the biggest unpopular opinion is that I like Relena. I don't agree with her views at times, I admit, but I admire her strength and determination to do what she believes is right. And I never thought she was stalking Heero. I thought that was just a little bit in the first couple of episodes, because she was bewildered and intrigued by him. Honestly, some people just won't forgive characters for offenses even if they change.
2. I really need to watch the series again, because though I don't actively dislike any of the characters, I was often indifferent to Trowa. He seemed like another Heero to me, reserved and aloof and determined to get the missions done. Yet he really wasn't another Heero, he was quite different. Heero would never be caught dead as a clown at the circus, for instance.
3. I don't know how big of a fanbase Wu Fei has, but I have ... never been part of it. ^^; I've tried to like him, and the show would definitely be empty without him, but ... I don't know, he just rubs me the wrong way a lot. I don't care for his sexist views, though I imagine it probably stems a lot from watching his wife die in battle (yes, he was married, briefly). It might just be that he's worried and doesn't want to see it happen again to someone. And when he decided that he was going to be an avenging angel and started attacking everybody regardless of their goals ... eh. However, I know that he's under a lot of stress and strain from everything he's seen, and that deeply affected him. In the episode 0 manga, it's mused that maybe he's actually the most sensitive of the pilots. And so I pursue my quest to see if I can really like him.
