10%How Scrooge Are You? Quiz courtesy of Frigidaire Parts from Easy Appliance Parts

It's been a frustrating time the last week and a half, with the modem going bonkers. It kept freezing up and preventing online access from continuing for very long. And it got increasingly worse, until I could barely stay connected for more than an hour if I was lucky. Dad bought a new modem yesterday, and at first it wasn't working, either. But after calling the phone company for help, it seems to be up and running. ^^ It was a relief to not have to be on hold forever, and to talk to someone who knew what was going on.

I finished Triplicate. X3 That was a very bittersweet feeling. I really loved writing that one, and I didn't want to leave the adventure. But I think now I'm ready to tackle the ski resort fic. It will be Angeal's first business trip with Jenova Corp, so that will be fun. And of course there'll be the scene where Seph has to ski away to escape the business rivals who tried to hold him captive. LOL.

I also couldn't resist any longer, and I had to write that oneshot of Genesis and some of his feelings over what happened in chapter 9 of Crisis Core. After finding out just how complex he really is, it all came together. I'm still mad at him for what he did in chapter 9, yet I think I understand at least somewhat why he may have done it.

I dug up the hotel fic of Dartz and Alexander yesterday. I think I posted the original scene in here, a long time ago? I have about three other scenes now, that I wrote off and on, making enough for a first chapter. I can't entirely remember what was happening in the original dream that inspired it, but some things are coming back. And there's such a sense of nostalgia with that fic. I remember how much I wanted to share my dream because I loved it so much. I'm still debating posting the first chapter, though, because I know it isn't likely to be updated too much, and then people will throw things at me. But I'm curious to know if it generates any interest at all.

I got some more written in the KH wing prejudice fic, too, which is good. X3 I'm wondering if I should divide it into chapters. I don't know how long it will be, but if it's left as a oneshot, it will be loooong.

I need to do something more with my claim at 100_chances too. And 30_gens. X3 I have a couple ideas bouncing around for each.

**takes quiz** LOL. Some of those answers are hilarious! I haven't ever played a practical joke, but that's probably just because I've never thought of it before now. XD. We did decorate the skeleton in the science room at school, though, with Christmas lights, and stuck some extra lights in its eye sockets. Though I don't think that counts. XD Anyway, I got 5% on the quiz... which for some reason seems a bit low, to me. XD

Yay!^^ I'm glad it seems to be working, finally. I really hope it stays that way!

I'm looking forward to that fic! I totally want to see Seph escaping on skis. LOL. And seeing more of Angeal will be great, too.^^

I'd be interested in reading the chapter! I don't mind that it wouldn't be updated too often, and I'm curious to find out what it's about.^^

Hey, that's great!^^ I'm looking forward to that one, too. If you don't want it as a really long oneshot, maybe you could just divide it into two or three parts?

Yeah, I know! I totally expected to get something higher than you. XD Now that I think about it though, I did wrap one of my sister's presents with plain brown packaging paper and some old twine, because I was insanely bored with the regular Christmas stuff and it was amusing. XD Maybe that counts as a prank? I think she ended up thinking it was really cool, though...

XD. Being satisfied with something is one of the biggest challenges with writing (or drawing XD). And definitely the most important thing, I think, anyway.^^

Uhh... Gosh, it was quite a while ago, so I'm not sure I remember. XD Something tells me they were either little white ones or little blue ones. Or maybe we had strung across the large white ones and stuck those in there, and the rest of him was multicolored? XD. Oh well. I guess that amounts to either white or blue in any case. They matched though! That's the important thing. **nodnod** LOL.

The smell of wrapping paper? I'll have to pay attention to that next time. I've always loved the smell of books though... and new Yu-Gi-Oh! cards. XD

We always have to beg our parents to get new wrapping paper, since we're always stuck with stuff that's been used a million times before. (That is, the design's been used a million times, not the same piece of paper. XD) That's why it gets kind of boring. XD

XD. That would be annoying to find you'd done something like that when it didn't need it! Good luck with getting things worked out.^^

Wrapping paper is one of those smells that always makes me think of Christmas. ^^ And new books! Lovely! I'll have to pay attention to the smell of new YGO cards. XD

Arg, modem/internet connectivity problems are definitely a pain. I know my sister recently got a laptop, and her wireless card wouldn't pick up the signal for more than a few minutes. I think she ended up taking it back and trading it for a different computer. XD;

Yeah, I've heard that wireless connections are a pain sometimes. I wouldn't want one, in case someone outside the home could pick up our signals.

I think I'd go nuts if I couldn't tell stories. ^^ I usually try to update with something every week. And then sometimes I get on a real roll and I still can update multi-chapter fics every day. XD **remembers doing that for some of the YGO mysteries.** Though they were never as detailed as some of my recent stuff. ^^;

I did write a Seto/Téa type fic recently, and I have them as a claim at 100_chances. ^^ I need to write the follow-up to that first fic....

^^ Yeah, I know what you mean. I haven't been actively writing a lot lately due to school/work and stuff, but I've been coming up with ideas for future writing ventures.

Yeah, I agree that my style has become more detailed as it goes along, too, and I definitely notice your more recent blurbs/fics have a lot more detail. I guess that means we're both growing as writers!

Haha, probably not. For being a Software Information Systems major, I really don't know all the logistics of wireless internet connections, but I do know it's not uncommon to be near enough to a neighbor's connection to be able to access it.

^^ Yeah, I really liked the "The Dance" story, even though it was sad. (It actually inspired me to do something with an idea I got from a dream a while back.) I am definitely looking forward to the follow-up story. :)

Yep, I have, and I own the film. ^^ I don't watch it too much, but I really enjoyed it. I don't remember the Genie annoying me especially, but maybe he would if I saw it again. Dijon was usually the one who annoyed me, yet I had a soft spot for him anyway. And he was amusing.

Dijon was very amusing! Now that I think back to DuckTales, I remember the show where Huey, Dewey, and Louie were teenagers or close to it. It weird to me to see them like that. I like it when they're younger. ^_^

Oh yeah, Quack Pack. **shudders.** I saw two episodes of that show, and I hated it. XD; Growing up with DuckTales, it just seemed kinda sad, too, that the boys were no longer living with Scrooge. I refuse to accept that show as canon. XD

Long one-shots are nice, though usually you kinda get the feeling that "I WISH THERE WAS ANOTHER PART TO THIS JUST AS LONG." Even if the fic did have a good end. :o

Indeed. XD That was one of the most odd quizzes I've encountered, and I'm not sure it's all that fair either, considering some of the questions/answers. **blink.**

... I wonder if part of my score came from saying that the nutcracker is something useful to crack walnuts with, instead of picking the one about the classical music. XD;

^__^ The ski resort fic will probably be more light-hearted in comparison to Triplicate if Seph on skis is any indication, but I hope it will be awesome too. I plan to have some surprise twists. X3

**nod.** Yeah, I'm still unsure of what I'll do with the wing prejudice fic. It's already got fairly long, and I don't imagine that I'm too far into the plot yet. XD; Though I'm afraid of it ending up like that hotel fic I was mentioning, and it won't get updated much. **has been working on it for some time already.**
