**pets icon.** I love that picture of Cloud and Seph so much. X3 I was looking for a different text transition effect and found this light one. It's purty. Omitting a couple frames, I got it to 44 KB, but I couldn't shrink it the last four. I tried decreasing the amount of colors used, but PSP didn't cooperate. XD; (That's Paint Shop Pro, not Playstation Portable. **always amused that they have the same initials.**) Lisa was able to get it down enough to use on LJ. X3

Watching AC, I came to the part where the little girl says, "It's like she said: wait here and Cloud will come back." Well, the "she" likely means Aerith, especially since she's later shown interacting with a couple of the boys. This begs the question, Where the heck was Cloud? I never really thought about it before, but seriously, he must have only arrived at the church pool right before the kids went to him. If Aerith had meant Cloud would come to, indicating he was already there and just unconscious, why would they just leave him floating in the water?

So, assuming Cloud wasn't there for a while, traveling back through the Lifestream or whatever, and Aerith popped in to reassure the kids he'd come back (which also begs the question of whether she spoke to AVALANCHE), was Cloud alone? Or did someone go with him on his journey? Someone like Zack? This could open up a whole new level of squee. There was a lot of time lost during the gap; the Ultimania says Cloud was fighting Seph around 6 PM at night, and he wakes up in the church at 6 AM the next day. What happened in the 12 hours that we don't see?

I got to do a lot of fic planning last night. I've been in another writing slump, with every oneshot and opening multi-chapter I touch stalling somewhere. XD; So in desperation I wondered if I should focus on an existing chapter fic for now. And Lisa and I got talking about Bend and Break. Now I have material for two chapters, as I only remembered after she got off that Zack and Cloud were going to investigate Seph's old house, and I want to show that scene. So the Zack and Cloud scene Lisa and I brainstormed about will have to be in the chapter after that. XD

The way I always saw it, somebody went and transported Cloud to the church by normal means (thinking that that's where he'd want to be or something), and Aeris somehow suggested that holding him in the pool would heal him and help him 'come back'. And I sorta think he was on the brink of death during the whole "this one is too old to adopt" conversation.

But I hadn't read the Ultimania guide (do you know where I can find it?), so... I guess my hypothesis was wrong. XD;

I'd considered the idea that they left him there to heal him, only I thought Aerith had already done that during Cloud's near-death experience, since his wounds are shown glowing and vanishing.

The only thing I took from the Ultimania is the time stuff, the rest came out of my head and is pure speculation. XD

The Ultimania has lots of fun insights, like describing the time of day for every major event in AC. X3 It does make one wonder what happened in twelve hours.

That's such an awesome icon!^^ It's too bad LJ has such a small size limit for them. **ran into the problem when trying to do her wolf Vincent icon.** And I was totally thinking Playstation Portable for just a second there, wondering how it wasn't cooperating. XD;

I've always thought Cloud had travelled through the Lifestream when he was shot, and then appeared in the pool. **kinda imagines it's connected to the Lifestream in some way.** And I think Aerith was in the church in spirit, and only the kids could see her. **had imagined they'd be more sensitive to that sort of thing.**

Oh wow, I had no idea there was such a big time gap! I didn't even realize it was the next day that Cloud showed up. XD; But I love the idea that Zack might have gone with him!^^ He totally would have, if only to keep him company.

I hope things are going better with your writing then!^^ I'm really looking forward to the next part!^^

That's possible! If only the kids could see her, I wonder if they told Tifa and the others about her being there.

It would be such squee if Zack was there! Maybe I'll write the fic.

They might have! I think they knew her as the Flower Lady. **and remembers a similar scene in FF7 where Marlene seems to get a message from Aerith after she'd died.**

XD Hmm.... **tries to remember.** I'm kinda thinking they didn't show the message exactly, but Marlene somehow knew that Aerith was helping or was going to help during the whole Meteor thing.

That would be really weird, if you could somehow make icons on a Playstation Portable. XD;

You know what I've always loved about that scene? How darn confused Cloud looks when he first wakes up in the church. He's like, "...okay. Floating in a giant puddle in the middle of Aerith's church, surrounded by small children. Right. ...Wasn't I dead or something?"

You know that's actually a really good question. XD; Oh man, but now I'm seeing something really long and with like... sane!Seph making an appearance. But even with just Zack it'd be adorable, lol.

And how exactly did Cloud get to the church? I guess if he was really in the Lifestream, he'd...probably come out of that hole Kadaj made. Now I'm just seeing Zack being like, "Okay, this is your stop! :D" Man, if I were Tifa and the others and I saw Cloud seemingly explode then come floating up in Aerith's church twelve hours later? I'd have a heart attack. XD

I didn't know that the Ultimania has times like that. I really need to read that thing apparently. XD

LOL @ Cloud coming out of the hole. XD That would be totally a shock. **always kind of imagined him coming out of the sky, for some reason.** Like how Kadaj went into the sky.

Yeah, it's a fun read! ^^ I love the comment on how they were originally going to have Yazoo and Loz take the shadow monsters along on leashes when they attack Cloud near the beginning. XD
