Chapter 6's pic. Click to make bigger. My Side7 gallery is working again, so I've been posting there at last. But I wanted to post these pics in order, so until 5's pic is done, I probably won't post beyond chapter 4 there.

Fics are coming along. My mystery dream is producing a T&D fic that is churning out very quickly. X3 It feels so good to write an all-out mystery again. I've been reading Nancy Drew for further inspiration.

I have had enough of the evil MacAfee update downloader. It ruined everything tonight so I couldn't talk to Lisa when she was only able to be on for a few minutes. I think that's the worst trouble I've ever had with it (even topping when it was downloading for an hour when I wanted to go to bed). So I finally found how to adjust the settings and put it back to Notify Me Before Downloading. I think that's what it was on before it switched itself to Automatic. It had better work. And I'd better remember to download the stuff when I'm not talking to anyone. XD; The reason why I'd left it on Automatic when it switched itself was because I'd kept forgetting to download since no time was convenient for me. But this automatic downloading as soon as the computer boots up is just the worst time possible. If I could stop it once it starts, it wouldn't be so bad. But I've tried and I can't. XD; Once it starts, I'm just forced to wait it out.

I finally saw The Dark Knight. X3 I'd gone into it expecting to not like it and to find it ungodly depressing. Instead, I loved it. It's definitely a lot more than just a superhero story. The Joker was insanely creepy. Some scenes with him I could have done without, yet they were important because they really showed how horrible he is. Heath Ledger's performance was amazing. I think the hype about it was well-deserved. And of course, all the other cast members were spectacular too. X3 It was very dark, as everyone says, and some parts were disturbing. (I admittedly did not look the very first time Two-Face was shown, under the bright lights. It was easier to watch him in the other scenes.) But I really liked a lot of the ideas brought out, like self-sacrifice and what constitutes the greater good, and I want to see what happens next. It would be awful to just leave it and not continue the story!

I wonder if part of the problem I had with Spiderman was that I'd gone into it expecting much different than I got in a different kind of way. I was told it was one way, and it was another, and I was really depressed by it. I already knew The Dark Knight would be dark, and possibly depressing, before I saw it. I was led to believe Spiderman was not that way. Hmm. In any case, I still do plan to watch Spiderman again and see if I feel the same about it.

I have had enough of the evil MacAfee update downloader.

ARGH, same here, even though I don't have McAfee anymore. It would slow me down horribly, and crash my comp whenever I tried to do something important. ~_~

And it wasn't even all that good! My new virus scanner (TrendMicro) caught a trojan that McAfee never found!

Glad to find a fellow sufferer! The downloader is so immensely inconvenient. And then it's even worse when the VirusScan ends up missing stuff! Ugh.

There is a way to temporarily turn off McAfee downloader, but it's kinda tricky. You have to go into the Task Manager (Cntrl+Alt+Del), and end one of the programs. But you have to be careful you don't accidentally shut off a vital program!

At least with TrendMicro, there's a Stop button.

Ahhh. Yeah, I should have thought of that. XD; Unfortunately the thing eats up so much memory that I can't be sure the Task Manager even would have loaded quickly during the time when I was having so very much trouble.

Yay that your Side 7 is working again! ^^ And, once again, the wings are fabulous! X3

Yay mystery fic! That's also very awesome, too! ^^

Ugh. Too bad about the computer downloading the updates by itself, and not being able to stop it... Where's Seto when you need him?

Yay that the movie was better than you expected! And if it is a lot more than a superhero story, I just might check it out! X3

Thanks! ^^ **hugs wings.**

I think I'm almost done with chapter 4. X3

I guess I'll find out in the evening whether the new setting I tried will work.

**nodnod.** It's really largely a crime/cop drama, as people have said. It might be better to see the first one first, though. It's also more than a superhero story. ^^ I love this new franchise because it's so human and realistic.

Awesome pic! I totally love the wings. ^^ **pets.** And I love how you made William look so different from Seph. You can definitely tell who's who. Merlin looks great, too! His beard actually looks really soft. LOL.

Mysteries are totally awesome. ^^ Glad it's going well!

**kicks MacAfee.** I hope it's behaving now!

I still can't say the movie was my favorite, but I do like a bunch of the ideas they had. ^^ (Especially the part with the two boats.) Definitely wouldn't want to run into the Joker, though! XD And yeah, I hope they continue the story!

**nods.** That could be! That's happened to me a few times, too, when things are really different from what I expected, and not in a good way. XD

Thanks! **hugs wings.** I'm glad William looks sufficiently different from Seph. I figured wide eyes would probably do it. XD Merlin was fun to draw. ^^ Yay soft beard! LOL

I started doing chapter 5's pic, and it's coming along really well. X3 It's turning out a lot different than I'd planned, but I'm excited. There's more symbolism involved in it now.

MacAfee asked me, and I said remind me later, so it will ask again in about two hours. X3

**nodnod.** The boat part was really intense and good! And yeah, definitely wouldn't wanna meet the Joker. XD It's highly disturbing that Mary Sue/Joker fics have started to pop up. o.o Lisa said she'd seen some.

XD I hate when that happens.

Oooh. I can't wait to see it! Symbolism is always awesome. ^^

Yay! Sounds like it's finally working.

You're kidding! Yikes. That's just..... really creepy. I can't imagine what the authors are thinking. XD;

Hopefully! ... Though it spent over an hour downloading when I did let it do it. XD;

**nodnod.** Those people ... seriously have something wrong with them. XD; Reminds me of all the fangirls who go gaga over Yami Marik. It's mind-boggling. The Joker and Yami Marik can never be saved by the power of love, no matter what they think.

Aww, Merlin! I love him being in the pic. ^^

Gah, that's such a pain about the downloader. I'm really sorry about things not working out on my end either, though. Turns out the stupid Vicodin was making me sick to my stomach, and being on the computer would make it about a zillion times worse. XD; I'm really hoping I'll feel a lot better tomorrow so maybe I'll talk to you tomorrow evening?

Oooh yay, I'm so glad you liked TDK! Yeah, Two-Face's appearance was one of the things I'd accidentally spoiled myself for. I was just browsing around on the Internet and all of a sudden a picture of that came up, and I literally recoiled from my computer screen. XD So freaky. But such a good movie! I think I'm seeing it for a third time next week, with my sister.

Thanks! ^^ Putting Merlin in was fun.

Ahh. XD; Evil Vicodin.

Hopefully! ^^

XD Yay seeing it a third time!

Side7's cooperating again? Huzzah! I should log in, then, and start commenting again...and with any luck, maybe I'll have something to actually post sometime soon ...but if you're going to be putting this picture up there, I'll withold major commenting until then...but the wings do look very nice, and Merlin's strangely adorable. XD

MacAfee is just as bad as Norton, if not worse. .__. And according to one of my friends who knew a hacker, most viruses are written with Norton and MacAfee in mind, specifically so they can slip under the radar of the most common virus scanners. I've run a ton of scans with Norton, and it never catches more than ONE SINGLE cookie, which it won't even remove. I've probably got trojans out the butt. wow, that sounded unintentionally obscene.

Aw, I want to see The Dark Knight soooooo bad, but nobody in my family does movie theaters, and all my friends are out of town, so it looks like I'll be waiting for a DVD release. ;_; ...but I've never cared much for Spider-Man. I never even bothered to see the last movie. It's such a depressing franchise.

Thanks! ^^ Yep, this one will go up there. ^^ I have the sketch for chapter 5 halfway done, so hopefully soon it will be ready and it and 6 and everything that comes after will go on Side7. X3

Ick. I wouldn't be surprised if that's true. -.-; One can't seem to win with virus scanners.

Blah having to wait. ;__;

I'm glad (and surprised!) to find someone else agrees with me on Spiderman. XD; I thought I was probably some solitary weirdo because I didn't flip over the first film and instead found it depressing.

Yes, I think the violence was up a bit in this film. In the opening scenes, I was thinking, "Gee, did I make a mistake in coming to watch?" I was prepared to avert my eyes at any given moment!

Anyway, I'm glad you enjoyed the film. ^_^ There is a third one in the works.

Interesting point there about your expectations and Spider-man. I see where you're coming from.

Be sure to share your thoughts whenever you plan to watch the other films. ^_^

It was definitely more violent, but other than Two-Face and some of Joker's creepiness, I wasn't really bothered.

I definitely hope so. X3 It would be fun to see the Riddler as a villain in it. I wish he would look like his version in The Batman cartoon, but most people hate him, so I know that wouldn't happen. XD;

I will! Can't say when that will happen, though.
