Ahhh. Friendship cuteness!
Jan. 5th, 2004 03:32 am**sniffle.** The Sailor Moon manga was very very sweet! I found it on Tuesday and stayed there in the store reading the whole thing 'cause I didn't have enough money to buy it XD The scene was better than I'd imagined. I wish I could adapt it for something of mine ^o^ I find it interesting that it was Sailor Pluto who was able to break Rini of the Black Lady spell instead of the Inner Scouts or Darien or even Sailor Moon herself! I dunno why the animé changed that. It was so sweet and sad! All hail friendship cuteness!
I'm going out again today. Hittin' the university and county libraries and hopefully a bookstore so I can finish the S season manga. I was right at the place where the Outer Scouts are telling of their mission to destroy Saturn and Rini is vehemently protesting. I wanna know if a scene happened similar to in the animé when she called everything Pluto's fault and said she hated her. ;__;
Brings me back to the Mokuba/Marik friendship I write about ^^ They're such cute pals =3 I'll forever be thankful to whoever came up with that idea in their fic! I like to have Marik and Mokuba get into arguments when Mokuba is upset about something or when he's trying to be too independent. Marik tries to lead him in the right way, but Mokuba doesn't always appreciate it. And then if the kid gets mad at Seto, too, then there's major angstishness.
I don't like having Marik squabble with his siblings because I like for him to be more mature now. Whenever he has disagreements with Mokuba, he isn't the one screaming and yelling. But that doesn't mean he never gets angry anymore XD My Marik gets angry lots of times. That's just part of who he is and I doubt it'd ever change. But just because his temper is short doesn't mean he has to fight with Ishizu and Rishid. I just don't like that and I have a perfect right to not XD
I wish some of my reviewers wouldn't make such immature, disrespectful-sounding remarks sometimes. Someone's dancing around yelling that Marik is naked. Which he is not. Yes, in the story they took his shirt and pants to wash them, but it's not like he isn't wearing anything underneath. The only time I've ever had him naked was VERY briefly in Going Under when Rishid is trying to dry him off, and he immediately wraps a towel around Marik's loins when he's done. That was the only time it was absolutely necessary to take him out of all of his clothes. Couldn't have him there freezing more in those wet things, after all!
I've changed a lot of my ideas for my fantasy fic since I last wrote about doing it. But there's still a sort-of brother against brother element, at least in parts of chapter one. I've also decided that every chapter is going to have a song to go with it. So far I've used Imaginary and A Thousand Years. Dunno what song will go with chapter three. I'll havta see what fits when I get it done. I have at least two other songs planned for later chapters, but those won't come for a while XD So far I don't have too many reviews (probably because of the long length of the chapters), but that's alright because I'm writing this mostly for my own enjoyment. If others like it, great. If not, I know I like it and that's what matters most XD
I'm liking Archie's Weird Mysteries more and more. I saw a review for it that said pretty much only die-hard Archie fans would like it. But then I am a die-hard Archie fan X3 Have been for years. I still keep my treasured Archie comics in my Pac-Man lunchbox >3
I hope the WB shows two new YGO's this Saturday! I know there'll be at least one ^o^
