Question for YGO buffs.

Does anyone remember that guy Duke Devlin talks to at the beginning of his first episode? They're talking about and observing Yugi in a darkened upper room of Duke's shop and this guy has glasses. I *think* he has brown hair too, but I'm not sure. I'm also not sure whether he's wearing the Domino High boys' uniform. But I'm wondering whether he has a name and whether it's said in the Japanese version what his connection to Duke is. I can't for the life of me remember if he has a name in the dub. But I use him in a random RP where Duke is nearly killed and then takes on the new identity of Ryuuji Otogi (yes, tongue-in-cheek there) to find the people who tried to kill him. And this unnamed guy is his confidant and partner in detective work. Duke always seems like such a loner, so I find it interesting how he was with that other guy and telling him of some of his plans.
