I love Ahiru's dream sequence in episode #14. The part where it switches to Fakir dead and Ahiru pleading for him not to die is heartbreaking. ;__; And it shows how much she's coming to care about him. But check out some other things I've been noticing about the sequence earlier on:
- When she changes into a girl and takes Mytho's hand when he offers it, he kind of pulls/jerks her over to him, which is an odd gesture for Mytho. It's more like Fakir. (Though, admittedly, Mytho did take her by surprise in episode #5 when he asked her to dance, and it could be hearkening back to that. But considering the rest of the dream, I have to wonder.)
- While they dance, you *never* see *any* of Mytho's head, except for a far-away shot in silhouette. It leaves it a little more ambiguous as to who she's actually dancing with. Obviously it's supposed to be Mytho ... or the audience is supposed to think it's Mytho ... but is it really? It seems a strange camera angle if it isn't supposed to mean something. Especially on a show like Princess Tutu, where everything means something.
