More squee has arrived. This is the commissioned fic that Nuit wrote for me! http://www.fanfiction.net/s/6207564/1/ More Autor and Ahiru goodness abound! I do hope she does continue this; I would love to see how their friendship develops and deepens in her post-series verse. *___* But even if it remains a oneshot, it's wonderful! I love it so much. **hugs it.**
I got up my chapter finally as well. Now I should probably work on the Underground Crypt fic or else maybe start the one with Ahiru and Autor and the crooks and the walk-in freezer. That will be the first of my Tutu fics to have a modern device as more than just a passing reference; I wonder if anyone will throw a fit?
One of these days I'm going to write an essay sighting many of the canonical reasons why I believe the show is, or could be, modern day and that the town just likes to have an old-fashioned feel. There's so many subtle little things throughout the series that hint at a modern setting.
Controversy aside, I can't fully remember whether I mentioned this in an entry or just in comments or just to someone in a private conversation, but the tentative plan is for Autor to be delirious when Ahiru gets him out of the freezer, and he's been hallucinating a world where he wasn't able to stop his Story from killing everyone. Either that, or a world where he himself did the deed, insane with powerlust. He thinks Ahiru is a ghost haunting him. ;__; She has a terrible time getting him to remember how things really were.
And I'm so overloading myself with prompt tables again, LOL. I am thrilled at having completed the Fugue State fic for my
paranormal25 table. The crypt fic is being written with one of the three Writer's Choice slots, Catacombs. And I'm thinking maybe When They Call You will be written with Fairytale, for another Writer's Choice slot. I can hardly wait to write the utter silliness for the New Jersey Vegetable Monster prompt.
I have two fics for my
10_prompts table, one that I think is done (for Garden), the other that is being stubborn (for The Edge). I have yet another in blurb stage (for Hold On).
And I've taken out a table at
30_losses. The freezer fic might be written for one of those, or for one at
10_prompts; I'm not sure yet. It might also be written for no prompt at all. Sometimes that happens too.
I randomly had an idea a week or so ago, of wondering if I could get the ballet class sent to America for a performance or something, and if so, if I could get Autor to go along by volunteering to play the piano for them. The problem would be in getting Ahiru there, because I doubt she'd be good enough to participate in any performance unless this was far in the future. LOL. But it would be such a fun idea. They could solve a mystery there and Autor could demonstrate being fluent in English and Ahiru could demonstrate her utter fail likewise. LOL. In roleplays she speaks fluent English too, because that just plain makes it easier, but I doubt she really knows it well even though it's a required subject in Germany.
