19 ... no, 18 days?!

ladybug_archiveI must admit, when I was longing for a normal holiday season, me being sick was never part of the equation. -.-; Unfortunately, that has become normal. **has been sick at the holiday season for the past few years.** I got the flu the weekend before Thanksgiving and now I'm in the coughing stage, which, while thankfully the last stage, is also the longest. I can cough for ages after the flu is technically over, but I'm pretty sure I'm not quite to the stage of it being over yet.
And on the radio the past morning I was informed that there's 19 days to Christmas. 18 now. The past couple of years, we've only been able to go shopping the week before Christmas because of me being sick. I'm afraid that's probably what will happen again. Last year we only got to go out once. ;__; I'm hoping for at least twice this year....
I'm especially paranoid this year about not going out too soon and having a setback because I don't want anything to ruin my New Year's Eve plans. As much as I want to go out before Christmas, above all I want my New Year's Eve plans intact.
