As the readers are probably aware, I go to great lengths to leave the guys' last names out of my fics. On the show, I believe Scott was the only one whose last name was spoken, and only then, just in the fifth season---which isn't canon for me anyway. Since I'm writing about the fictional versions, it feels more "fictional" to keep their last names unspoken.
But the Second Look fic requires last names. It just isn't possible to get around it. So I'm trying to keep a certain level of ambiguity by abbreviating the names. "Scott L." "Elliott K." etc.
But guess what?
Jeff ends up being "Jeff T.", or "Mr. T." according to his college teacher.
Mr. T.
